Great spot. Been to the franklin location before and this one is even better. Much larger and more spacious with a large patio. Fish and chips and the hot potato were great. Good drink selection. Staff were friendly and the service was excellent

Great experience at McCrearys Irish Pub in Columbia, TN! Our waitress Xander was very attentive and gave great recommendations. We had the beer cheese and chips to start, my husband ordered the Fat Irish Burger, and I had the Reuben—everything was delicious. The blueberry beer on draft was really good too. We’ll definitely be back! Photos attached. We will be back!

We stopped in here for a drink while checking out Columbia on a Saturday in January and ended up having lunch.

We sat a the bar. The bartender greeted us immediately and provided menus. We ordered a couple drinks and after a bit decided to get some food.

I had the soup and salad combo. The lemon vinagrette was very good. The soup was Baja chicken chilli and that was very good. The corned beef eggrolls said half-rolled in the menu and they tasted fresh and were very good.

The bartender, I think her name was Jackie, was personable and attentive. We chatted with her and she seemed like a genuinely good person.

Prices were good. The atmosphere was casual and laidback. I saw that they do some events but nothing was going on the afternoon we were there.

We parked near the town square and walked over. There was street parking out front and in that street too but the town is very walkable.

We enjoyed this lunch.

New favorite! This place has the best atmosphere and and the food is amazing. We came Saturday night and luckily at 7 pm they have terrific live music. The band was Def Leprechaun and they were fantastic and fun. Very talented group that took some requests and knew a great range of songs and music.
We tried the Dublin pot pie and the fish and chips. The pot pie was delicious but the fish and chips were top notch some of the best we’ve had. I also had to have the bread pudding for dessert. I love a good bread pudding and the portion was great for sharing.
The service was incredible and very accommodating and incredibly friendly. It is off the square in Columbia so parking can be a little difficult but well worth it for a great time out for food and entertainment.
There are so many other fantastic options on the menu we want to try and they have a good looking breakfast menu as well.

The food is excellent, so bring your appetite. Service is superb, always ready to fill your glass. Atmosphere upstairs with the live music is very entertaining while eating. StevieRock band was very interactive with the patrons. And Reasonably priced!

I’m shocked I haven’t reviewed McCreary’s yet—it’s easily one of my top spots in Columbia! The food, drinks, and service are consistently outstanding. Their sandwiches, burgers, and fries never disappoint; the fries are always perfectly cooked. Just yesterday, I enjoyed the Paddy Melt paired with two “Red & Gold” beer blends. Every menu item I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Plus, they frequently host live music and trivia nights, adding to the vibe. McCreary’s is definitely in my top five go-to restaurants in Columbia!

Quaint Irish Pub. The young ladies working at lunch time were very nice and worked to make sure each customer was happy. Amazing bangers appetizers and lunch specials were very good. Will visit again when we are in the area.

We had a wonderful time here as a stop for mothers day. The server was new but very attentive and made sure we had everything. The food was pretty good as we all tried some different plates. The Cottage Pie was great along with the soda bread, and the Corned Beef was super tender (that’s what I’m getting next time). As for the only dish that kind of lingered in our mouth in a odd way was the Waygu ‘N Bleu. It looks great and the taste isn’t bad, but the Bleu cheese tast never left our mouth and it made everything else taste like it. Even so, I recommend coming here and will try it again in the future.

Of all the things I love about a good restaurant, the thing I love the most is ATMOSPHERE. You can find good food many places in middle Tennessee, but it is rare to find good atmosphere. I’d rather sit at home and eat whatever I can make for myself than sit in a cold metal and concrete brutalist style modern warehouse that feels like a prison mess hall and get to eat artisan foods. This is a REAL Irish pub. No nonsense. The atmosphere is perfect. There’s often live music of a surprisingly wonderful quality. The staff are friendly and helpful… and though I’ve said what I’ve said about atmosphere, the food at McCreary’s is always fresh, delicious and made with care.
