Kenny is such a delight! If you get the honor of being served by him you should count yourself blessed. He is as life giving as the food was! Do take the time if you’re on the beltline or just hunting for food spot where you feel at home instantly. Great food, better service, McCrays Tavern. #Baxter #IYKYK

McCray’s Tavern delivers good food and a solid game-day atmosphere. The spinach dip is a standout—creamy and flavorful—while the burgers are juicy and well-cooked, and the boneless wings are nicely crisp with robust sauce. The lively environment, with plenty of screens, makes it an enjoyable spot for football Sundays. However, service was slower than expected, with noticeable delays for both food and drink refills, which slightly dampened the experience. Overall, the quality of the food and comfortable vibe make it a worthwhile choice.

This place was the absolute worst restaurant we have eaten at in Atlanta. Never was greeted by a server, we had to go to the hostess and ask for our server after waiting 15 minutes. We had to then go back to the hostess because no one came back to take our food order. When our food arrived it was not what we had ordered and the salad was missing the dressing. No one tried to correct the order. Mind you the manager on duty 2/28 was the one handling our table since the server assigned refused to take the table. We ordered margaritas and they were filled half way up the cup and was told by a very rude server with braids that “that’s how it comes” but all other drinks on the patio were filled to the tip of the same plastic cup we had. Sad part is, it wasn’t even that busy and there were multiple servers on. Would highly recommend to avoid this restaurant even if it’s your last resort. McDonald’s or Burgerking would have done a better job than this place. I worked in the restaurant industry for several years and was a cooperate trainer and this was by far the worst customer service that I have ever had.

Sat down at a table outside. After 10 minutes no one met the table for service. Spoke with someone at the hostess stand to get a waiter. The person at the hostess stand showed up at our table to order drinks. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. And said we would order entrees in a bit. Appetizer shows up and there no napkins. Went in to speak with a manager and the person at hostess stand says she is the manager. I ask for napkins and someone to come take our order, and she has them sent over. She comped free drinks for the issues. We ordered entrees: a buffalo chicken panini, and a Cobb salad with blackened chicken. The drinks arrive and they were served in a large cup and were half full. The food arrives and the salad has no dressing and the chicken was not blackened. The buffalo chicken panini was grilled chicken with no buffalo sauce. We spoke with the manager and she offered to bring us some buffalo sauce. Mysteriously, a container of ranch dressing was delivered to our table. We asked for the check, and when it arrived the pen didn’t have ink. We couldn’t even write in our $0 tip for the terrible service. This place should not be in business.

The food was great. Nice portions. Maybe it was the time I went but, the music made it difficult to hold a conversation.

Atmosphere was cool/trendy outdoors vibe, great music. Our server Kenny was on point & helpful in choosing food options. Our favorite was the spinach artichoke dip. I had the Greek Pita which was tasty. Friend had the spicy turkey wrap which was tasty, moist & very spicy as a warning if you can’t handle a sting. Overall very much enjoyed our 1st time there!

The atmosphere was great. It was a cool November day but the heaters were perfect on the lower floor porch area. My wife, my son, and I could people watch the Beltline with folks cycling, running, and walking. The service was excellent. Everyone was prompt and had a great attitude. They serve an amazing cinnamon pina colada (in the pictures) perfect for anytime of day. We only had the hokey pokie nachos but they were the most crunchy and well seasoned chips I’ve had covered in seaweed salad, chives, avalado, and spice mayo topped with an array of saffron threads. Such a delectable bite! We will be returning!

This restaurant recently opened, and it is a vibe. The food was delicious and they played great music. There are lots of TVs to enjoy sports games. I highly recommend the chicken philly. The service was great. Summer was a great bartender. I will definitely be back and bring more friends.

First Time at the BeltLine Location – I’m Sold!
I usually go to McCray’s in Smyrna, but this was my first time at the BeltLine spot… and wow, what a great time! Went after a 4-mile walk and treated myself to a few (no judgment, please) $5 shots, the smash burger, and sweet potato fries. It was trivia night, so the energy was fun and lively. My server was phenomenal, and the whole vibe was exactly what I needed. I’ve officially found my new after-work reward spot to refuel after knocking out my miles.

We’ve been to McCray’s Tavern on the Beltline twice in the last two weeks. The first visit was great — we sat on the patio and had a lovely waiter who was kind, attentive, and professional.
Unfortunately, our second visit on Sunday was a completely different experience. We sat inside and were served by a woman who clearly didn’t want to be there. She had a broken arm — which I can understand would be frustrating — but that doesn’t justify the rude attitude and poor service we received. Watching me tip you should not have been the only acknowledgment of your job.
Customer service matters, and frankly, you don’t belong in that role if you can’t treat people with basic respect. I’m a secret shopper for several companies in Atlanta, and had this been a mystery shop, you would have failed.
Disappointing. We won’t be back.
