Stopped in for some pre dinner drinks. Bartender was great and recommended a rum old fashioned and made a custom fruit mojito. Drinks were fantastic top of the line elegant and delicious cocktails. There was also live music that was amazing and very relaxing. Definitely a recommended stop if you are in Daytona Beach

I gave it 5 stars because it is one of the nicest hotels in Daytona. Daytona beach area is one of the older beach areas and it is going through renovations to improve the area. Again, 5 stars given because it is one of the nicest hotels in the area and ideally located right on the boardwalk. I did not give it 5 stars because it is an absolutely beautiful hotel, but it is nice and, in my opinion, the best place to stay in the area. Not to say it is not well kept. It is worth staying at. We saw one of their free weekend concerts at the outside beach amphitheatre followed by fireworks. A very nice surprise.

The rum room has a nice selection of rums (nothing too out of the ordinary but still a nice set) and has some good drinks on the menu. Unfortunately, if you ask for a common drink that isn’t on the limited menu you will be out of luck. The drinks also tend towards the overly sweet side. It’s a shame they have nice rums but not a good grip on how to use them.

We stopped into McCoys Rum Room, located inside the Daytona Beach Hilton, after dinner one night. The atmosphere is very comfortable & the bar area is very nice. The bar was fully stocked with mini drink options to choose from in the wine selection was very good.

Tasty drinks. Expensive. Atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. Couches and barstools. Live music. Service wasn’t great. Bar not busy, bar tender walked past twice. Also forgot basic garnishes on drinks. Didn’t bring drinks out to us on the couch. A friend carried 3 drinks over. Overall okay

Bartender lady was very good at her job. Drinks were expensive but very good. Excellent selection of rum for an Irish named joint but that’s what has made America so great for so long. Besides the exceptional service nice atmosphere of a yacht club.
