I stopped in for breakfast this morning, and I must say it was a pleasant experience all the way around. I ordered the good little breakfast. I had crispy bacon , eggs scrambled with cheese , cheese grits, and a biscuit with apricot jelly. To drink I had a coffee ☕️. In fact I had about four cups. All of the food was good. I requested crispy bacon, and they nailed it. The cheese grits were a bit mediocre, as it was just plain grits with shredded cheese on top. I prefer grits that are creamy, but these were a good average grit. I would have expected them to use a little heavy cream when cooking them. My waitress was friendly, however Jayla, the other waitress working, was very friendly and talkative. She is a recent graduate from the University. A talkative employee gives an old time diner feel to me. It’s something that is hard to find nowadays. The place was full, but my waitress was very attentive. She was quick to refill my coffee ☕️. Check this place out if you want good food and great service.

I stayed at the Inn at Ole Miss and had breakfast at McCormick’s. The food was great, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, the wait times were long—for ordering, getting the food, and paying the check. Not the server’s fault—she was doing a great job—but she was handling at least eight tables alone at 7:30 a.m. on a Tuesday. They really need a second server during busy hours. That said, I still recommend the place, maybe it’s better for lunch or dinner.

No one knows about this place – every time we visit, there’s usually no one there, but the food is really good. It’s inside the Inn at Ole Miss, so I guess it’s sort of understandable that knows it’s a great place to have lunch or dinner. Try the redfish and you’ll see what I mean.

I was in Oxford last weekend for a friends wedding and a few us decided to stop and grab drinks at McCormick’s for drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks and the restaurant and hotel were beautiful. But the highlight of our dining experience was our server Evan! He was so kind, professional, and represented the establishment better than anyone in there. A sweet fellow who deserves a raise no doubt. If I come back, it’s for him!

I went here back in May 2022 with my parents. The service was REALLY slow and our server, Elysia, acted like she didn’t care too much. We gave her the benefit of the doubt because it was graduation weekend and busy. Flash forward to today, I decided to give this place a second chance because the food was good. We had Elysia as our server again. It took about 15 minutes before we were brought menus and water. Took another 10 minutes to place our order. Then we waited an hour for our food to be brought to the table. She brought the check and after waiting about 15 minutes for her to come pick it up, I decided to just go pay at the bar. We will not be coming back.

Nice little bar/restaurant. I had the cheeseburger & a Southern Pecan beer on my visit and enjoyed both. We dined in during the Alabama game, so it was crowded! However our food & service were prompt and excellent. Would eat here again.

Food 5 stars. Service 1 Star.
Front of house pitiful.
Liz and server competed for our service.
Couldn’t watch the Ole Miss game because of their animosity with one another.
Liz was completely unprofessional by stating over and over and over again that she couldn’t turn on the Ole Miss game because it was “above her pay grade.”
Hello? We were on the Ole Miss campus and couldn’t watch the game?!

Our server Liz was great, drinks were great. We had chicken wings, mushrooms(always our go to), and chicken tenders. I only gave 4 stars as the line cook was hanging out at the bar and we had to wait a bit for our food.

Breakfast is consistently good here. Lunch has been fine but I heard the menu was changing or has changed and I haven’t tried that. Service is good. Restaurant is clean! Good selection of food on the menu!
