My wife and I sat at the bar and the owner Mac was our bartender. He was nice and well versed on all the whiskeys. My wife and I wanted to try something new instead of the same whiskeys and bourbons we normally drink. His suggestions were fantastic. We had lunch to go with our drinks. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and delicious… Also don’t sleep on the brussel sprouts. They’re the best I ever had. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich which she loved as well. It was a great way to spend my birthday and I highly recommend this if you want a relaxed atmosphere to have a drink and a meal.

This guy…imagine having the audacity to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to drink exceptional whiskey AND have absolutely incredible food. Crazy. We had a great time. I took my husband for his birthday and we received amazing recommendations from the bartender who turned out to be the owner. We had great conversations with him – super cool guy with an incredible collection of life experiences. The Brussels sprouts are actually insane and I’m still a little mad they’re better than mine, but I digress. Please don’t go here to order your same old same old – it’s an EXPERIENCE (one that you don’t really find anymore). The recommendations are spot on if you’re willing to share your go-tos. I normally am a red wine drinker and had two incredible whiskeys at reasonable prices that I truly enjoyed drinking. We will definitely be back.

I arranged dinner for six at the Regency Square location on a Monday night. The owner was the only waiter, one cook, and about 20 people. The service was warm, attentive and great. The food was delicious! We were not rushed, Mac provided information about whisky or other drinks. The greens are hands down the best I have ever eaten. The platter of smoked meats is huge and we have enough for a second meal for the two of us! My friends were impressed with McCormack’s Big Whisky Grill!

110/10 This is by far our absolute favorite place. The food is always incredible! Who ever gets excited over meatloaf? We do when we come here. No questions the steak and wings are great too, but I absolutely love their brussel sprouts. The owner has always been nothing but friendly during our visits and gives great recommendations for whiskey. Best old fashioned around by far. Don’t leave without asking about their desserts!

This was our first time coming to your Whiskey Bar & restaurant! I’ve been at better places with better service & food! The two guys that waited on us was not friendly at all! Could care less who we were! The greens were sweet & not seasoned like that should have been! The corn bread taste like cake! Just gross! Our dinner was so good, we went back the next night with our daughter who follows a vegan diet and she loved it, too! Delicious, well-made food. Great suggestions for whiskies to try. Can’t wait to go back. Good spacing between tables indoors. Outdoor seating available but it is also a cigar smoking area.

You are not going to find a better whiskey bar anywhere else. Talking to the owner is like reading an encyclopedia on the history, chemistry, and spirituality of American spirits.
We were in awe of the selection and quality of everything. The menu is wonderful. The smoked duck breast was delicious and the brisket was perfect. Throw in the kale and grits as sides…..stupid good.
The atmosphere is remarkable. Not one tv, the music is selected as if to pair with the food and drink.
This is exactly what you’d imagine if you wanted to sit down at a true whiskey bar.
We’re gonna be back a lot.

Mac was extremely kind, I loved everything about this gentleman! He was so sweet and considerate and helpful when my children came for dinner. When my kids became antsy and decided it was time to just not listen (2 year old and 6 year old) he came over to the table and just made the evening better, he also put in the kids order first, without even having to ask, I’ve never had such an amazing server until tonight! Food was on point, the Mac and cheese is to die for, and for the fries he offered me this ketchup with a little spice to it, I had to order it (you can get it off Amazon, it’s Heinz habanero ketchup $3) also the bathroom signs were cute too! 10/10 would definitely come back! Oh he even gave the kids a race car ️
