There are so many options that sound great.. I guess we’ll have to drive back at some point. We got the Crabby Pretzels, Pan-seared Salmon, and the Famous Fish & Chips. Everything was tasty. Our bill was in the low $90s for those 3 dishes & 4 beers total.
Note: we liked the selection and I think our vegetarian friends would be comfortable coming here.

Amazing food, great drink options, fantastic atmosphere. The patio (heated and enclosed) is gorgeous. Inside is the perfect mix of cozy and FUN! You have to go when the band Bad Sneakers is playing. I’d make the trip back here from Philly solely for this place

We went to this pub for our anniversary dinner and loved every bit of it. The fish and chips were delicious and the portion was generous. The bangers and mash are also very good. Also, the service was superb! The next time we’re in the area we will definitely find a way to come back here.

Awesome pub! Incredible food – lots of Irish & English food as well as regional favorites like crab cakes & crab dip. Excellent menu with plenty of choices. The Fish & Chips might be the BEST I’ve had on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Very cool historic atmosphere befitting of an old river town like Marietta. Fantastic service! Diverse selection of beers & beverages. Great luve music- Salt Hill was outstanding tonight.

We’ve been trying to get here for years. It was well worth the wait. Friendly service, seated us right away. Calm chill atmosphere. Could sit here and talk for hours since it was not loud at all. Food was top notch. Even the char on the burger was flavorful. Absolutely will come back again.

Went for the fish and chips, very disappointed. I honestly feel that the overly breaded, burned, greasy batter offering came from pre-packaged frozen cod fillets from a food service company. Waited far too long for wait staff to order from someone who barely spoke. Walked away from my table without asking if I needed anything multiple times (yes, I need sweetener, yes I need vinegar). The cheeriest dialog was when I had paid up and was leaving. Strange.

I don’t know if the owners or management read these reviews, But last night you had two top chefs and their families in your restaurant and we absolutely loved everything but beyond that, Your service staff is UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Our server Nick was an absolute all star!!!! He is the top one percent of absolutely perfect people made for the service industry, You can’t “train” a personality like that, an all star server either has it or not and it’s a very rare thing to see, Between him and his counterpart Ryan Were Out of this world like I’d say either one of them could be hired anywhere within a minute, they’re spectacular and have Heart of Gold, The treatment they treated us with was a step above anything you’d experience at most places four or five times this price, I don’t know where these young men learned or articulated their foundational service skills, their thoughtful vocabulary, and Interpersonal skills, these are things You rarely see at any level much less this Unexpected little Pub with great big Heart, two of our dearest friends and Us alternate weeks where we eat, they’ve only eaten there once before and absolutely loved it and wanted us to try it and we were so happy we did, the food was good, the service was spectacular, I can’t imagine a time we’d ever come and not specifically make it a point where sit in Nick and Ryan’s section, I hope the owners applaud these two fine gentlemen and give them every opportunity they deserve for promotion and advancement with a rewarding career because these guys are an absolute treat for any of your guests fortunate enough to have them visit their table I just can’t say enough about them and if either of these gentlemen ever see this review I’d hope even if the owners don’t read them, they could print them off and take it from an award winning chef as my personal wholehearted endorsement that If I were any restaurant owner I’d hire them on the spot without a doubt these guys are exceptional and I hope McCrearys not only applauds them, I hope they give them a rewarding career with every opportunity they deserve Because these guys are AWESOME!!!! Thanks for making our night and time visiting with our friends so much more special because you cared to give us such Exceptional Service they didn’t just meet the bar they far exceeded it
