We got the Buff Girl and Hula Girl with Nuts . Really, incredible flavor , unique varieties and definitely not your standard pizza place.

Let me tell you, in the 3 years I have lived in Louisiana no pizza has really wowed me until now. McClain’s is my favorite of all time. Pizza with the perfect crunch. Loaded with mouth watering toppings and the sauce was perfection. They have outdoor and indoor seating. My family chose outdoors where we could have a beautiful arial view of the water. The service was excellent. Great for families, casual get togethers with friends, or date night. You cant go wrong with McClain’s! Simply the best!

I’m not usually a pizza person and typically get sick when I eat it — but McClain’s Pizzeria completely changed that for me! Their pizza is incredibly fresh, from the high-quality toppings to the perfectly made crust. You can truly taste the care and passion in every bite, and best of all, I didn’t get sick at all!
McClain and Maggie are absolutely amazing, and their staff is so friendly and welcoming. The whole team makes you feel like family the moment you walk through the door.

This place is perfectly located on lakefront and is pet friendly. We went there with our dog and sat upstairs on patio. The breeze was good and lake was right in front. We ordered Caprese Salad, artichoke dip and build our own pizza. The pizza was really good and full of flavor. Caprese Salad was refreshing and tasty. We enjoyed our dinner and evening here.

I visited on a Tuesday around 11:58 a.m. and ordered a small personal pizza and kids’ corn dogs. Unfortunately, I wasn’t greeted with a smile or even a “hi” when ordering. It felt like I was an inconvenience, though I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assume the person was just having a rough day.
There were two- three other workers and the two owners sitting across from each other at the bar talking. The restaurant wasn’t busy — just one other table when I arrived. Ordered a kids meal and one small pizza. The kids’ corn dogs came out in within 10 minutes, but my pizza didn’t arrive until about 10-15 minutes later, and it was only warm, not hot. It seemed like it had been sitting for a while before being served.
Later, I went to the counter to refill two drinks. The same girl who took my order was on her phone. She saw me, made eye contact, but continued her call. The two owners saw me waiting with empty cups and did nothing for several minutes. When the girl finally got off the phone, I asked for the refill — but by that point, I was honestly shocked that the owners hadn’t stepped in to help.
What really bothers me is the lack of care from the people who own the business. I can’t imagine owning a restaurant and allowing guests to walk away feeling ignored when it could have been easily fixed. Customer service should never be an afterthought. The owners very obviously do not care about their business. I will not visit again.

Very disappointed in the quality of food. This place was not busy. I ordered the bread sticks and pizza. When I get home I realized that the bread sticks are still doughy. Not cooked enough and the pepperoni pizza is still doughy as well. I live all the way in Madisonville so I’m not going to go back and request for another that’s 30 minute drive there and back.

We stopped here to see if they serve local beers. We were honoring a friend who is battling cancer and couldn’t make the trip with us. They do have local, craft beer and we were offered a few taste tests to make our choice. We ordered pizza to go along with our beer! The 76er was our choice along with their garlic dipping sauce! Phenomenal! Best ever! Loved being able to look out over Lake Pontchartrain while we ate! We were on our bikes so no parking recommendations.

We have had pizza here a few times and the pizza is always soooo good and pretty cheap too. What we really love is sitting on the second floor deck and enjoying the view while we wait for our food.
