My wife and I ate here for the first time today. The wait staff was super! Enjoyed the chips and queso! Our food was out in fairly quick time. Tried the breakfast burger, it was great! Everything about our experience says we will be back the next time we pass through Morris. Everyone gets a two thumbs up!

I ordered a ham and cheese panini. The Panini said shaved ham, however The Panini I received had sliced ham. I never would have ordered it if I knew that it was going to be sliced ham. As it was a little difficult to bite all the way through the panini because of the thickness of ham.

First off let’s just say beautiful. The best word to describe everything. The food, over the top. Service. Unbeatable. Atmosphere, gorgeous building. I truly recommend this place. If you can I truly recommend getting val as your server, she was on top of everything. Not to pestering and constantly asking. Just the small normal check ups, on top of drinks. The food was good, typical bar food but the price per person will be their downfall. We were there on a Saturday night around 5:30 and not many people were there. For 4 people (2 shared) a meal, 1 app and a total of 4 drinks ( 3 bottled beer) 1 mixed drink was over $120 without the tip. They’ve been open about 1 year and need to adjust the costs for a family. Atmosphere eat pleasant and service was there when needed.

My wife and I were driving through Morris on our way back from Starved Rock and decided to stop here for dinner. The service at the restaurant was great. Waitress and managers were very friendly. Seating was comfortable and the bar area is very nice with a beautiful old wooden bar. The problem is with the food. The meal we had was not very good. My wife had pot roast and I had the meatloaf. The meatloaf was lacking in flavor and was also hard. It was smothered in gravy that seemed like it came from a can. The best thing about the meatloaf plate was the steamed broccoli. Oddly enough, the pot roast plate looked exactly like the meatloaf plate and was equally as bad. The same gross gravy smothered on some type of flavorless meat chunks. I don’t like giving bad reviews but strongly feel the food at this place is worthy of one. Go here to watch a game or have some drinks with friends at the cool, old bar. But if you do go, don’t get the meatloaf or pot roast.

We sat at the bar for lunch and Lauren was our bartender! Even after being completely overwhelmed with the New Years Day crowd she was so pleasant and friendly!!! The food was hot and amazing! What a wonderful first experience!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
