JJ’s is the real deal. A community pub with an eclectic Irish tap list. McAuliffe’s has live music regularly and has supported local musicians since the 90’. They are the US address for Scottish bagpipe metal band: The Red Hot Chili Pipers. They probably have good scotch options. I’ll have to go back and see.

This is the spot for live music in Racine. You will see more diverse acts, and more nationally touring acts here, than anywhere else locally. It’s a simple place, comfortable, great regulars, and the city’s best bartenders. A strong and well thought out beer selection makes it a great place to have a drink on nights there is no music. Plus they have legendary Trivia Nights and Walking Dead viewing parties!

This is a neighborhood bar, I know the owner from other events we attend. Great guy! He does a lot of charitable stuff for the community.
Drink prices are similar to most bars in the area. He has many events for fun- bands, comedy, trivia night, Packers parties etc. They do not serve food at all but he lets you bring in outside food, I recommend the pizza place next door.
Nice decent size stage area for bands to play. (I’ve been to bars w no stage at all).
This is my favorite bar/pub though I live in Illinois and it’s a bit of a drive.

We come on Wednesday for trivia and have a great time! Next door is a great pizza place since the bar doesn’t serve food but they don’t mind at all that you bring that delicious pie to enjoy! Will continue coming back!!!! Keep it up!
