First time was for food, I did online order and went in watching the food runner laugh and talk on the phone for a while and then start delivering in store food that was ordered while he did so. Packed mine up once I think he noticed me. Waited a solid 15 mins from my pickup time watching my food sit on the counter. SLOWEST service I have ever seen. The sandwiches were not made according to ingredients listed online. I didn’t eat mine, my sons was soggy.
Second time I went in for 1 big tea. I walked in and stood at the counter while the woman didn’t acknowledge me whatsoever, had her back to me. I heard the man from before and others in the open kitchen blaming each other and talking about how someone don’t turn the ovens on. She was literally 5ft from me and still didn’t turn around, I got her attention when pulling my keys out of my bag to leave.
Third experience. Opens at 10:30. Finished my Heb trip and wanted a tea, the man from two previous experiences is outside laughing it up with what looks like an employee, I go to open the door and it’s locked. It’s 10:40-45.
I’ve never been here and had a good experience. I feel like when I go for even a tea I have to question if I’ll get one.
Ordering online was simple, but everything went downhill from there. When I arrived for curbside pickup, the process required calling in — except no one was answering the phone. I called three separate times, got hung up on once, and the whole thing sounded very chaotic. To make matters worse, two of the designated curbside spots were blocked by dumpsters. After waiting over 20 minutes, I finally got my order — soggy sandwiches that weren’t worth the price at all. Honestly, the prices they charge for half a sandwich are outrageous. The whole place feels shady and unorganized.
Of the day and was told oh we don’t have that item. The menu needs to be updated, they sent us the wrong one we don’t have that any longer. Maybe a short piece of electrical tape could easily fix that. Definitely not the same as the McAllister’s I was used to. I will definitely not be going back again. What a shame!
I love the sweet tea. Lately I have been getting a sprite with peach syrup.
I frequent this place so much I had to download the app.
This place feels like love and happiness. I got so excited when I picked up my food that I forgot to take a picture.
I highly recommend!
