If i could rate them zero stars i would . Have been a regular for quite some time , there has been a couple of instances where there has been hair in my food ! And i try not to complain due to being understanding that things do happen ! This instance i picked up food for my wife for lunch and dropped her food off ! She sent me a picture of hair being in her food ! I called and spoke to one of the ladies at the register which she was super nice and understanding ! Also showed her proof as well ! Well the manager insisted i go back and get the food as if i didn’t state that i dropped it off to my wife for lunch . brought the food back just for her to tell me the food was almost gone . Of course no one is casually looking for hair in their food when they eating! No one in the kitchen is wearing hair nets or nothing. so if you are eating here, check all your items for hair ! Even the baked goods ! Had a hair in my brookie as well !

Things to know before you go:
* App users, you now HAVE to use Google Pay. Even if you select pick up inside.
*50% of the time, this recent trip was one, they forget 1 item. Check your curbside orders. And ask they bag hot items seperate from the cold or they will cram it all in one bag. Soup, Chile, lettuce, sour cream, it all gets put on top of eachother then knot tied super tight.
*Sugar plum sweet tea is no more forevermore
*You can order on the app from the table and not have to get in line or try ordering over a crowded room.
Curb pick up is fast.
Food:
Food is always tasty. Some days it’s not just tasty but also perfectly put together. Wish I could say the same for their pickles but you can’t win them all.
This is the best carrot cake in town. It does have added coconut and walnuts.
Their Au ju sauce is so good I wish I could drink it like broth.
Vegetable Chile and Beans&Rice are really good. Would have been as amazing as the other food if they hadn’t let them get cooked down and too thick.(see photos)
Ciabatta bread here is the best in the area.
And the only place you can get a good spud large enough as a meal.
I’ve never gotten sick from eating here.
Outside:
Parking can get packed at certain times.
The entrance by the pick up door gets slippery when it’s icy outside.
Outside seating is my only complaint; bird feathers and poo everywhere. That’s why birds can’t have nice things.

Due to dietary restrictions, I am severely limited in restaurant options. My diet can not have gluten, sugar, white rice, corn syrup, or pork. Really cuts down the options.
We tried McAllister’s because of the gluten-free bread option.
We had the McAllister Club on gluten-free bread, and it was delicious.
We paired the sandwich with cucumbers and tomatoes, which came with Italian dressing.
Everything about the dining experience was top-notch!
Unfortunately for me, the gluten-free bread and the Italian dressing both contained sugar, which aggravated my neuropathy and set my feet on fire.
Even though we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the experience, we will not be able to return.
I hope you will take our place and give them a chance to give you excellent food and service.

We ordered dinner here and Kim was our cashier and Louis the manager. Both of them went above and beyond on our order to make sure we were happy and satisfied before leaving. Kim was very polite, courteous, patient, and kind when taking the order. She repeated it back to us, and we failed to realize that the sandwich didn’t get entered as a king size. So when we looked at it before leaving, the manager Louis was putting pickup orders out and immediately asked us if something was wrong with our order. We said yes but not to the fault of anybody working here. We asked if we could get a king size and pay the difference since we didn’t realize when she repeated the order that it was regular size and only charged for that size. Louis promptly asked the kitchen to take care of the rest of the order before continuing with the next customers order. While we waited a very short wait, Kim offered us refills on our wonderful tasting peach tea and strawberry tea. We accepted. Then Louis comes out with the rest of our order. He said all was good and to have a great night refusing any extra charge. So we paid that forward to Kim for her friendly service and contagious smile and happy personality. Louis also does a great job in the store, keeping everything on track and running smooth while maintaining a clean and upbeat positive atmosphere. I will definitely return to this location in the future. Thank you, Kim and Louis, for this wonderful, kind experience that is rare these days, unfortunately.

They really need to fix their online ordering system. I ordered something that was supposed to be ready for pick up at 11:30. I got there at 11:25 waited until 12 o’clock and my order still wasn’t ready. I watched tons of people come in order their food sit down have their food brought to them eat and leave while my one sandwich and soup wasn’t ready. I asked multiple employees and all I kept getting was it’s coming, sir.

This place stills holds it down ! Even though the Pandemic” they still have kept there Food “ quality “ up to standard! Which I truly appreciate. Definitely need to try the Ultimate Nachos !! YUM YUM ! And it’s only 9$!! And can feed two people. Ira a WIN for me!

I had the Italian Sandwich and the Spud Max, and both were absolutely delicious! The sandwich had plenty of meat and fresh vegetables — way more filling than most other sandwich spots that just pile on bread.
The Spud Max could’ve easily been a full meal on its own — loaded, flavorful, and perfectly made. I also like that you can customize your order however you want, adding or removing ingredients from your sandwich or spud. Highly recommend McAlister’s!
