We placed a mobile order at McAlister’s and ended up having to wait about 40 minutes because they were out of spuds, which was a little frustrating at first. But the way the team handled it completely turned the experience around. The manager was super nice and even gave us a free dessert, which was such a kind gesture and really appreciated.
Everyone in the restaurant kept checking on us during the wait and made sure we were taken care of. They were all so friendly and genuinely kind the whole time.
We ordered half sandwiches and half spuds, and everything was really good once it came out. We also tried the kids’ pretzels and they were so delicious! Overall, the food was great, and the customer service truly stood out.
Definitely a 5-star experience because of how well they treated us!

Angry customer!! First they forget one of my McAllister club then I open my order my box and noticed my spud looks nothing like the picture. I’m pretty sure it’s suppose to come with olives and other toppings but it’s literally a potato with just ham this looks nothing like the picture. Had a great lunch here, loved the Jalapeño Turkey Crunch sandwich. And the chicken tortilla soup is a classic. New peach tea is delicious! Have been coming here for many years, and it’s always good!

This is the worst location (McKinney TX). This location never gets orders correctly and apparently cannot read. I have addressed our issues several times with two different Managers but it is never fixed. We keep giving this restaurant multiple tries but no improvement. Just empty apologies. Apparently your management is incompetent. This time , they forgot the olives and green onions and avocado. Every time we order they forget something. Never remembers sour cream or butter. We get useless apologies from management. You can see from this pictures they forgot the avocado, green onion and olives. They also forgot the sour cream and butter. This is a consistent issue.

I had been to this location a couple years ago and the service was so poor that I’d not wanted to go back. Gave it another try today and left smiling because the staff was SO amazing, and the food was delicious (per usual)!!! It really makes a difference when you go out to eat these days and the customer service factor is there. The management is awesome!! The soup was not as hot or as fresh as I wish it would’ve been, but the attentiveness of the staff made up for it. I even had to go by the front desk and let the manager know what an awesome team she has! Keep it up!

My wife and I love coming to this McAlisters. We come at least once a month. The service and food are always top notch. I recommend visiting in the evening too – it’s not as busy as the lunch hour and makes for a great, quiet place for a date or catchup with friends.

I have had trouble with this establishment and it just doesn’t seem to be getting better. There have been too many times where items were left out of our togo orders that every time I go there, I have to double check to ensure they put everything in there. Then, today, as I’m eating my sandwich, there is something that doesn’t seem to be edible. Come to find out, they left the cheese wrapper on. Needless to say, lunch ruined!

We got the sweet and Smokey chicken sandwich and Angus Beef Club with a side of Sea salt and vinegar chips and Tomato bisque soup with a wild berry lemonade. The wild berry lemonade is better with more ice as it was too sweet without being watered down. The service staff was really helpful and refilled my lemonade and took away the dirty dishes.
