I feel that McAlister’s Deli always hit the mark and provides a decent dining experience each time that I go—even for those who are Gluten-sensitive! The service was nice and quick, and the inside area always seemed to be very clean, too.
At this location, ordering always felt very simple and efficient. I appreciated that when I and/or my partner order a Gluten-sensitive option that they always asked whether it was an allergy or preference for either of us. For my partner, it is an allergy, and they have not been glutened here. Also, it did not take long at all for the food to be prepared!
I usually got the Gluten-sensitive Sweet and Smoky Chicken Sandwich. I have also tried the Chipotle Chicken and Bacon Spud as well, but I preferred the Sandwiches usually! I addition to that, I tried the regular Chili and Veggie Chili. My partner always got the Gluten-sensitive New Yorker Sandwich. We both get a Bag of Chips (Sea Salt), and it paired nicely with our sandwiches! We liked adding additional pepper to the bag, too. When we brought along my sibling before, they got the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich and a Cup of Mac and Cheese. However, we both love the Chicken Tortilla Soup and sometimes got that instead!
I feel that the Gluten-sensitive Sweet and Smoky Chicken Sandwich always satisfied with its well-cooked chicken. The Sweet and Smoky Barbecue Sauce paired well with it and the other ingredients, and I would easily recommend this to almost anyone! I thought that the Chili and Veggie Chili (which is a Gluten-sensitive option too) made great sides too! It easily made that meal at the time more filling—which is great when I felt particularly hungry.
The Chipotle Chicken and Bacon Spud was a good amount of food for the price! I thought that it had a lot of good flavor combinations and was quite delicious too! As for the Chicken Tortilla Soup I would highly recommend trying it if you can! It was not pictured here, but it does come with Tortilla Chips! It was a bit salty in taste (which does make sense), but it was satisfyingly so and did not take away from its overall flavors. It was easily one of my favorite things at McAlister’s Deli! I got this when I was not feeling well, and it really helped regain my appetite that time.
I think that McAlister’s Deli will always be a great regular dining spot for lunch or dinner whether that is with ordering gluten-sensitive options or not! I and anyone else I brought have never had an issue with eating here. I look forward to the next time I visit!

Found large bug in my Caesar salad. It was truly horrifying as I had already finished the majority of it. That night I had the worst stomach pains amongst other issues. Reached out to the company and have heard nothing back. Be weary when getting the salads or anything else with produce.

I’m super excited this location is finally open. It’s close to my work and home. I’ve already been several times, and the food and services have been spot on each time. The restaurant itself is beautifully constructed. It is the new layout for this (Ardmore) and all future locations. There’s a cool patio on the west side of the building. Perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner. They are also sporting a new menu item: roasted mushroom soup. It is my new favorite soup.
Pro Tip: put some mushroom soup your French Dip sandwich!

As we were entering the threshold of this fine establishment, someone called out “Welcome to McAlister’s”. As a previous GM, I was contented and looked forward to our experience. That greeting kicked on the “Manager mode” in me as I critically began to assess the store. ✔ The tables and floors were clean, all customer informational displays were prominently and nicely placed. At the register, I showed the cashier a coupon for a free meal I had. I asked what it could be used for, she said she had to check with the Manager. To my surprise, when she returned she “cheerfully” explained I could use it on just about anything! wow! I truly was surprised and impressed. I orded the 12 inch french dip and Mac & Cheese, LG Dr pepper. (I did feel a twinge of guilt…food cost )
My daughter ordered the BLTA W/side of broccoli . BOTH sandwiches were beyond reproach..and needless to say delicious! The store was clean, stocked and organized. The GM himself, kindly handed me my order. I then shortly thereafter observed him walking his dining room and checking on guests personally. A skill of finesse so few GMs have. This place made up for any previous “poor experience” I had in the past. Kudos to this GM for leading his crew by example … I was even impressed with the environmentally conscious to-go containers!

First time visiting McAlister’s, was looking for a good soup.
Ordered chicken tortilla soup which was very flavorful but lacking on the chicken part, will visit again and hopefully there’s more chicken.

I stop in here at this McAllister’ Deil on a regular basis for lunch. The food is always good here. I have tried a few different menu items and everything I have tried has been good. One of the main reasons for me to take my lunch here is their sweet tea. They also have great cookies. They have outside seating that is great for the nice spring like days. The staff is always friendly, polite, and professional. The dining room and restroom are always clean.

Update: The customer service team has reached out and let me know this issue will be handled. It really is refreshing for a large company to care about reviews. I have raised my review from a 2 to a 4 . I will go back in and try it out again all because the customer service was so amazing. I will update on my next trip.
Well, it was a total where’s the meat situation. Prices have gone up and quality of food has gone down. So disappointed. The chicken salad sandwich used to be one of my favorites. Now you just get a hint of a hint of chicken salad.

Very friendly service here, though the manager had to come out and help ring up our order, cause the attendant had no idea how to make the baguette a12″, or put substitutions (like type of cheese) in, without charging extra. The sandwiches and macaroni are good and consistent with other McAlister’s Delis. The potato salad was awful, but a nice lady was going around asking if everyone was doing ok, and when we let her know, she promptly replaced our side with a bag of chips instead. The bags are quite full with lots of flavor. McAlister’s really does have the best tea. This location was especially clean and welcoming, and generous with the extra dressing we requested.
