Visiting all the way for San Diego, CA. I just want to express my appreciation for the manager and the entire team at McAlister’s. The manager is doing an awesome job. She was so warm, professional, and welcoming. The teamwork here is truly amazing, and you can feel the positive energy and dedication to great service. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience! Horrible service. Literally ordered the southwest avocado chicken salad and look at the slice of avocado they gave me. I then asked can I get a lemonade since I had to leave my house to return. The “manager” said no. I said I left my house for an issue you caused.

Quick affordable lunch. Service with a smile. Good prices. Food was great. I had a 1/2 jalapeno crunch sandwich and 1/2 southwest chicken salad with the vinaigrette it comes with. It was amazing! If it hadn’t been so good, I could have eaten off of it twice! Instead I stuffed my face! My aunt had a loaded baked potato and potato soup and enjoyed it as well. Also, the sweet tea and strawberry lemonade was great!

I ordered pick two and so I had 1/2 grilled chicken club and a cup of red beans and the food was delicious. The young man talking orders was somewhat chatty but I guess he was mostly friendly. He just really didn’t prioritize his customer service skills in the correct order. He took the customers order ahead of me and then decided to get some food trays that were for dine in and fix a drink I believe. Then the kitchen staff mentioned he had a customer. He replied ” I know. ” Then he turned to me to say can I help you. Then he decided to become chatty with me. I listened to him very politely.

My wife and I cam here in November 2023 and since I came back I had to find this place. The Customer Service is great (maybe better then Chick-fil-a) and the food is prepared fresh, so when you eat it, it is hot. My wife even ate here last time and when the Manager found out she has Celiac, she personally fixed her food. This is southern hospitality at it’s best. Sorry, I don’t have pictures of my food, it looked to good not to dive in.

Have been going here for many years and have never been let down. The sweet tea and lemonades are always freshly made and tasty. The squash soup and broccoli cheddar soup brightened up the day with their warm and creamy flavors. The southwest chicken and italian sandwiches just hit the spot with a classic side pickle.

Why do they even have hours posted if they aren’t gonna open the doors to let anyone in ???? It’s says 10:30 am and it’s 10:40 and the employees are just hanging sitting around. They never have orders ready on time idk why they even offer delivery especially on the catering orders always a 20+ wait no matter what. The manager lady always has a attitude because they are understaffed like it’s the customers fault they don’t have enough or haven’t hired anyone
