I just attempted to eat a chopped chicken and avocado salad at this McAlister’s Deli. The General Manager, Michael Brown, took my order and promptly brought it to my table. It looked NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE!! In.fact, I brought it back to Michael and asked him to take the 3 pieces of disgusting brown avocado off the top and give me some fresh avocado. After receiving looks and attitude from the cook, a while later he brought me back the plate with a few newer pieces of avocado on top, but when I “dug” deeper, I found brown disgusting lettuce. I asked for my money back without taking a single bite. He offered no apologies and recharged me for my tea. I left. No more to return here.

I made an online pickup order of a southwest chicken and avocado salad with extra avocado that I was charged for and only received one small piece of avocado. Kitchen should read tickets better and I should have checked my order before leaving. Other than that small issue I usually have a great experience overall. I also tend to buy salads to be able to make 2 meals with it. Staff was very polite upon my pickup experience.

Ordered southwest chicken avocado salad, they said they are not willing to cut avocado because they claim they are to hard to cut… so I ordered a French dip sub with order of bowl of Chilli. After eating 3 bites of the French dip sandwich, the light shined perfectly where I seen a hair in the roost beef sandwich. I took sandwich to the counter where they said they make me another one.. after waited 35 minutes for a new sandwich, I just left. The Chilli there was also another hair in the bowl, but a different color than the french dip sandwich. Avoid this restaurant, unless you want food in your food. The employees need to wear gloves and hair nets.

Husband ordered BLT. there were no tomatoes. Daughter ordered spicy turkey melt NO TOMATOES. hers was loaded with tomato. I ordered chicken tortilla soup which had zero chicken. it was 3/4 full and I was given 1 hole tortillas chip and some broken pieces. Very disappointed in the food quality. service was great and friendly but we see this place closing the doors again soon.

My husband and I ordered carryout, only to find out once we arrived home,that a portion of our order was missing. When my husband contacted the store to let them know part of our order was missing, he was rudely told that what he said wasn’t true because everything was placed in our bag. Its unfortunate that a dispute arose because side orders of steamed broccoli and macaroni and cheese were omitted from our order. The conversation ended with the store employee hanging up in my husband’s face…the same employee who forgot to prepare the drinks we ordered until I reminded her of that. This entire situation could have been avoided by a knowledgeable and capable store manager fully training the employees to be sure all items are included in take out orders. It should never be the customer’s responsibility to have to check the employees work. We visit McAlister’s Deli quite often and have never had to deal with an issue of this magnitude. The food, as usual, was outstanding. The service was the type that puts restaurants out of business. I suggest that anyone who visits the Mansfield road location check their carryout orders prior to leaving.

2 women continue to come to counter for various reasons.
1 lady was helping a customer with a refund. Told customer they would have to call manager.
Not once did anyone acknowledge that we were there. Employee could have just said, be right with you, even a goodevening would have been nice.
We finally got tired of waiting and left to eat somewhere else.
Be careful who you hire it will close a business.

I ate here about 3 weeks ago with my boyfriend and definitely will be back soon! Good customer services, veru friendly. Takes a while for food when you get a lot of stuff but its definitely worth it. I got a macaroni with the spicy southwest chicken, very hot too! 10/10.

I had a spicy turkey melt, broccoli cheddar soup, and black cherry lemonade. It was all really yummy. I dare to say, I may have even enjoyed it more than Panera Bread!
Couldn’t finish it all, so I took mine to go. This is a really nice place. Clean and bright. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were very polite and attentive.
