The club sandwich was pretty decent. Serves it’s purpose as a filling and satisfying meal but it’s not something to write home about. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Dining area was clean and tidy and they picked up dishes relatively soon after a table was done.
I was disappointed with the mac and cheese. It almost tasted like it was microwaved and when brought out it almost looked plastic and fake. The consistency of it was bordering on too thin and runny but it wasn’t “bad” per say.
The pickle probably could’ve been pickled a bit longer – it was practically still a cucumber.
Prices for the combo are fine and pretty standard but $3.29 for a drink is way too high.

I was pretty disappointed with my “Spud Max”. I ordered it without green onions and added black olives. But my Spud only had toppings on one half and the other half was just cheese. I tried to spread it around but it was definitely a little weird, especially because my husband ordered the same thing (with no special instructions) and his looked perfect. It just felt careless and like I didn’t get my full toppings. I’m not likely to order from them again for that reason.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad for pickup on my way to work. The salad greens were brownish and noticably wilting. The chicken was very tough and dried out. This was my lunch and I am at work and can’t leave to return it so to say I am UPSET and DISAPPOINTED in the quality of this salad is an understatement. I usually get wraps but I wanted to try a salad today and I honestly should have stuck with my usual.

Update, June 21. Awesome food again. Has become one of our favorite for this style of food.
Important Update, March 16th 2020…. after we submitted this review, Corporate headquarters contacted us and let us know that they were checking into the issue. They then provided coupons for two meals so that we could go back and try them a second time. We have been out of town and could not go back until today. Very glad we did. Everything was fantastic. Service still awesome, and food was flawless. For this reason I have removed the negative pics and added fresh pics and videos. It is now one of my favorite places. Thank you team, good job.
Our first visit. The service at the counter and at our table was very good. Very clean eating area. My chicken jalapeno crunch sandwich was great, the chicken salad was great also EXCEPT for all of the wilted lettuce on them. One of the signs in the store tells of “Crisp Greens” Woops! Check out the photos. We will try them again, maybe it was just a bad day, the greens were not crisp at all, they had brown wilted areas on them.

Okay, my sandwich was good. But my wife got the green goddess salad which was over $10 and it came out with rotten avocado on top. The manager was the one who dropped it off. She removed it and ate what was wasn’t rotten. Very busy and didn’t want to wait for something else. Disappointed they brought that out. Should’ve clearly saw it was bad and got a new one.

Came to Wichita to visit my granddaughter and she said she loves this place. It definitely did not disappoint! The menu was vast and it was hard to find a seat. We came on a Friday at lunch time. I see why it’s so popular. Great service, great food, reasonable prices!

I just love the breadbowl. The food I did receive tasted great. The service was lacking. My order came nearly 30 minutes after they told me it would be ready. They didn’t give me my whole order. This is McAlister’s. I expected much better, but the food was great.
I figured I’d give them another try since it’s been awhile. Came to the counter and had to wait an obscenely long time before even being greeted. I may try again in another year. This places obviously still could care less about it’s customers.
