I ordered my usual smoky pepper jack turkey sandwich and Mac and cheese and its always delicious. My husband ordered the Memphian and it was soo good too-very mouthwatering. The carrot cake slice we shared was huge and the brookies are always perfect and soft. The peach mango tea was a little too sweet for my liking, but still good. Service was great-they came by to do refills, offer boxes if needed, and make sure everything was great. Plenty of seating options available as well.

Will not give AARP discount unless you use there app. Cashier was completely lost. Could not get the order. Register told here the correct change and still she had difficulty making change. Gave her cash and she went to ask a question and then wanted me to pay her again. Staff short on ability. Will not return. Sandwich had meat in pile in middle of Sandwich. Just bread outside of middle.

We went here due to a friend’s suggestion, absolutely love this place. The moment we walked in we were greeted, the dining area itself was clean and fresh looking. The menu has so many options to choose from. The food was fantastic, it was made fresh and done with care. I will be suggesting this place to everyone I know, will be back again, 20/10 recommend!

My husband ordered the choose two. McAlister’s club and sou. The picture presented on the menu shows a whole sandwich. What he received was a quarter of a sandwich. I inquired and was told that indeed what he received was half of a sandwich. I feel like the advertising of this item is deceptive.

I have been frequenting McAlister since it was introduced in Wichita while employed at Cessna. Long time fan of the Muffaletta sandwich and ice tea. We sponsored Cessna Flying Club lunches and teams meetings McAllister at Maple & Ridge. While visiting my 80 year old parents in Derby we decided to go to McAllisters for dinner. Big mistake! Gone was the Muffaletta also gone was the service and quality I had known. I ordered three sandwiches with sides a unsweetened tea, a Diet Coke, and a unsweetened tea and lemonade. The gal behind the counter placed two tea and two sodas in front of me. Three sandwiches and three drinks. I looked at the girl and said I only needed one Diet Coke. She said I ordered a regular coke and a diet. I said responded that I ordered 3 sandwiches and three drinks not four. To which she just looked confused. Next I asked which one was the Diet. She said the darker soda was the diet. I put the straw in and tasted it. Nope not diet. I put the straw in the second soad and sampled it. Diet. The guy working the register offered me my receipt. I asked if they were going to refund me for the fourth drink. To which the girl responded no you drank out of it! I said I drank out it because she said it was the diet and it was not. Again I pointed out the obvious. Three guest, three sandwiches three drinks not three sandwiches four drinks. So to summarize the staff is not well trained, lacking any customer service skills and then refused to refund the forth drink due to thier two errors. One the poured for beverages and then could not correctly identify the diet from the regular Coke. But yet this agent of McAllisters took the position that I drank/sampled the Coke at the counter before sitting down with my elderly parents. So I was not due a refund. I said “three sandwiches, three drinks not four, I drank out of the straw because she said it was the Diet. I would not be back” I saw the girl take the receipt to the manager and bearded man wearing an orange shirt. I clearly she advised him of the situation. He simply shrugged and returned to the back of the store. Now to summarize, I ordered a Diet Coke as my 80 year old father is a disabled vet and a diabetic. So a regular Coke is a no go! Further we are all seniors and having McAllisters staff and management effectively disregard the situation and steal from us is unacceptable and is not just poor training but fraudulent. The Derby McAllisters is McAllisters in name only the staff is illtrained and disrespectful. The manager on duty was derelict in his duties. As when the situation was brought to his attention he should’ve came to our table apologized and refunded the fourth soda. Simple, easy, common sense, and management 101. So McAllisters is banned for life over the cost of a fountain drink. I could elaborate on other shortfalls in service and food quality but you get the point. Skip McAllisters and go to Scholtzski’s. We will be spreading the word in our circle.

Was in town visiting family and we chose this place to try. We did OLO. I got their chicken salad sandwich and side of mac n cheese. This is not a place I would return to. It was the worst place I’ve ate here. The mac n cheese was old mush and was actually brownish in color. My sandwich was smashed and had old lettuce mushed tomato and barely any chicken salad. If I would have ate in restaurant I would have returned it and complained but instead I tossed it and ate something else. I will keep in mind for future visits not to return here.

I love the drive thru option for this location but I am tired of not getting all of the side items that go with the food I order. No crackers with the salad, no pickle with the sandwich, wrong dressing, the list goes on. It may seem small but it gets frustrating and takes away from the experience.

I showed up at the height of lunch time, the workers were all rushing about looking a bit flustered, there was nearly no place to sit, after waiting in line a friendly face calls out, I can help you down here! MERCEDES, a bright smiling face greets me and takes my order, she somehow made the place seem less chaotic then it first appeared! Thank you Mercedes for making my experience and remain calm and friendly in the stressful situation!
