We were traveling and stopped for a quick dinner. The employees were friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. We ordered potato soup; it was hot and tasted great. The sandwiches were done quickly and brought to our table as we were enjoying the soup. I was surprised to see everything was served on real plates!

The food was so good. The service was excellent. It was quite and we enjoyed a nice dinner. It’s a little pricey but the quality of the food makes it well worth it. We didn’t have to wait long at all for our food. My only regret was I was too full for carrot cake.

Waited 30 minutes for our food and it came out lukewarm at best. The French dip sandwich came out with grilled chicken mixed in with the beef. The French dip sandwich was much smaller than 6inches. Mac and cheese bowls were cold, and less than half filled. Majority of the tables were dirty so we were limited on where we could sit (4 people). Could hear workers yelling from the kitchen, they didn’t seem to care that people were waiting on their food.

We stopped at this location on our way north. There was a small problem with our meal. They went out of their way to make it right and gave us a discount on our meal. The manager was very kind and helpful. We would recommend this location.

We went through the drive thru and ordered. We set and waited for 20 minutes for them to bring our food out before my husband went in to see what the hold up was and our food was sitting on the counter. The worker said oh, sorry we forgot about it. It had been sitting there according to the tickets for 7 minutes. The restaurant was not busy and there was no one else in the drive thru. He gave my husband a cookie for free. That is not what I would call good service.

Really disappointed with our experience at McAlister’s Deli in Mt. Vernon. Our sandwiches were soggy as if they had sat for hours despite them being ordered first hand inside the restaurant. My husband and daughter received the wrong food as well. Side order of fruit was soggy and tasted fermented. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, but we waited quite a while for our food. We stopped here specifically because it had such high reviews. Do not recommend this restaurant. Very expensive for the quality of food you get.

This location is right behind the drury Inn where we stayed. We are here twice and the ladies up front We’re super friendly personable helpful and just made you feel like you were at home. Kudos to these people who are working hard in our crazy world right now highly recommend this location You might have to wait a little while and realize that mcalister’s is really not a fast food place they make your food fresh but the food is hot and delicious. They will not disappoint just be patient be kind and friendly and you will be treated like family.

We stopped for a quick lunch on the way to St Louis. There were 2 other patrons and our simple order took more than 30 minutes to prepare. There was no gnocchi in the chicken and gnocchi soup. Lots of trainees, but the trainers weren’t any more confident in what they were doing.
