My first visit to McAlister’s Deli in Wheaton was nothing short of fantastic! I was thoroughly impressed with the freshly made and delicious food. We decided to explore a few new menu items, including the lasagna soup, the McAlister’s club, and the spicy Creole sandwich—all of which were outstanding. The ultimate nachos topped with vegan chili were a hit, and we couldn’t resist trying dessert: the red velvet cheesecake and the brookie & brownie were divine!
Their menu really caters to everyone, including kids; we enjoyed the Mac & cheese and cheese pizza, which were both hits at our table. For drinks, the Witches Brew and their refreshing lemonade tea were perfect accompaniments. I’m now seriously obsessed with their lemonade tea and the spicy Creole salad!
The staff was incredibly friendly and offered great recommendations, making our experience even better. The service was impeccable, and I can’t wait to return for another round of deliciousness. Highly recommend McAlister’s.

This was the ABSOLUTE BEST LOCATION EVER THAT I’VE EVER HAD FROM THE FOOD TO THE SERVICE JUST WARM AND WELCOME CLEAN VERY ACCOMMODATING I WASN’T RUSHED BY ANY MEANS AND THEY ANSWERED QUESTIONS I HAD BECAUSE MY CRAVINGS WERE ALL OVER LOL
Thank you Kim for getting the promotion in manually because we never know when technology won’t work and sometimes it’s at the worse times.
I appreciate every employee I encountered and will definitely drive back to Warrenville for the best Chicken King Club
The portions were plenty and I even had enough for lunch the next day. It was so fresh all ingredients the bacon so crispy just right not burnt and the chicken full of flavor and juicy. I’m not a fan of the potato salad but my son is and that side pickle is so crunchy and crisp. As I’m typing this I’m planning a trip and this location isn’t near me it was my first time out this way for an event and I will most definitely be back!

as soon as I walked in, its packed! The lady in front of me at the door was like…wow so many ppl! I told her yea let’s join the party…later she said oh you are in their party. Yes lol my friends were already here we probably filled half of the spaces lol
It’s a great place to go and get a good freshly made sandwich + soup + salad for lunch! The parking is shared but huge lot! The place is nice, wide open and very clean!
Kid menu, A main course with a side, only $3.49 LOL you do have to order a drink if wanted to, will land you $1.79 extra, either way, 5bucks for a kid meal!

Had the Roast beef and horseradish sauce sandwich absolutely AMAZING so fresh and soft and delicious paired it with broccoli cheddar soup as my side. Out of this world. We also got the New Yorker and by the fact that not even a crumb was left that it was delicious too.

Had lunch and ordered the roast beef with horseradish and cheese and a grilled cheese. The sides were potato salad and macaroni and cheese. I ordered a regular and small drink. The regular was huge. You only need to order a small as they give free refills. The bread on the roast beef was chibata which I thought would be thick with a chew. It was very soft and not chibata. Both breads were very soft. I prefer my bread with a bit of a chew to it. The meat was ok and the horseradish sauce was not very strong. The potato salad was from a container and the macaroni and cheese, although cheesy, the noodles were overcooked and very soft. It’s an average no frills deli. Nothing special they have other offerings but I will pass. Not a lot of flavor but I can see picky kids or adults liking it. The service was good and very pleasant. The restaurant has plenty of seating in both tables and booths. Parking was great.

The customer service is just plain bad here. The staff are polite, but there are no Welcomes or general manners. No one smiles, and the manager is incredibly off putting. Every single time I come in, he stares at me with an upset face and I can only assume thats because Im openly alternative and gay. It feels bad whenever I come into this mcalisters with a few exceptions. I’ll probably come back but everyone here is STILL not at polite as they used to be.
