Today I picked up an order from this restaurant. I’ve eaten here a few times now and every single time I place an order for curbside I have to walk inside and grab my order. This has happened so many times now that I finally called corporate and complained directly. If you’re not going to offer curbside service don’t keep it as an option on your site and remove the curbside parking signs. If Sam and Omar can’t be bothered to follow pick up instructions clearly listed on the order, then please hire employees that understand basic reading comprehension. Either offer the service and deliver on the promise of curbside, or DON’T OFFER IT AT ALL.

The bathroom is always clean -Which is very nice! The whole place seems very sanitary. I usually get takeout and my food is always ready when I get there. My broccoli cheddar is always hot and cheesy! And I love trying their different sandwiches.

The service was good. Three place was clean, however, a few of the tables were not stable. We had to move twice. Balls of napkins were under the legs to keep them semi-stable.
The food. Was very disappointing. The amount of meat and quality in the sandwich was equal to subway. I came to McAllisters for a good quality meal. A friend got soup and it was good but thought it should be in a bowl (not a container) with a real spoon. My sandwich was just notthe way it used to be. Very down hill!!

We had stopped at another McAllister‘s in different Chicago suburb and were underimpressed. It had just been very poorly managed.

We were on the road and our options were limited for a healthy sandwich on Grand Avenue so we took a risk.. We were so glad we did!

An older gentleman who seemed to be the manager was so friendly and so helpful! The cashier was a young lady who seemed to truly care about her job and customers! It was a world of difference from the other store we had stopped at a few weeks previously.

We just live over the border in Wisconsin and come down to Gurnee in this area periodically. This McAllister‘s will be on our short list a place to stop at in the future. It was excellent!

A definite break from typical sub shops, Mcalister’s boasts an extensive array of sandwiches.

Took me a while to give them a try upon moving in after Panera moved across the intersection. One of those places to whenever I come back, I wanna keep trying something different.

Delicious sandwiches along with a variety of salads, soups and sides to accompany your meal.

Food seems to be of good quality, venue is kept squeaky clean/sanitized, prices seem reasonable and service reigns supreme.

Great customer service.
Even better food.
I ordered the Japaleno Crunch and it was very tasty and fresh. It was close to six flags and I wanted something light and not heavy. Their tea was also great they have a monthly tea membership I noticed. Will be back.

My husband and I went here for dinner on a Friday night looking for something different from the norm. There were two other families there finishing up their meals. By the time we received our food, we were the only guests there.

I ordered a Pick Two but was charged for and received a whole sandwich with a side of soup instead of a half sandwich. It ended up working out okay because the sandwich was good and the soup was not.

I ordered their tomato soup which came out thick and dark red, almost brown in color. It tasted like burnt marinara sauce. Not pleasant at all. I also ordered a cheese melt which was surprisingly good. The bread was warm and soft. Paired with the cheese it was a sandwich I’d order again. My husband ordered a ham and cheese melt and really liked it. He ordered mac’n’cheese as his side and said it was mediocre, at best. He said it tasted like it was sitting around for a while.

We both decided if we give this place a try again, it will be during lunch when its busy and the food is fresh.

Gotta love a good salad. The loaded chipotle chicken baked potato was arguably one of the best I’ve had. McAllisters Deli has a great menu. Awesome service..healthy options..nice portions. It’s just a real feel good joint. Stop in!

The people working at this location are very unprofessional. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, but they gave me a sandwich. When I realized the mistake, they agreed to exchange it, but they only gave me lettuce without chicken. I discovered this when I got home. When I called them for a refund, they said they couldn’t do anything about it, and the lady was very rude to me as if it were my fault.”

Big-sandwich shop or big sandwich-shop? The answer is both! This store was a Starbucks but at some point turned into Mcalisters. Very spacious and very clean. Waitstaff at the top of thier game with refills and clearing tables. Short wait in line to order, and short wait for food delivered to the table (Be sure to put your number in the ticket holder on table). I had the Turkey Rueben, a very hearty sandwich with coleslaw and chips for my side. Lemonade Tea was also good, but no tangyness at all, which I prefer. Overall: a great, big sandwich shop for reasonable prices.
