I was dying to try this place and it didn’t disappoint. They recently opened and offered up subs, salads nachos and potatoes bud. It was so hard to choose from the menu. I picked the Caesar salad with chicken it was amazing from portion to taste and value. The cashier was just such an amazing person. She had a beautiful smile and energy about her. Lovely smile and service. There was really no wait. The restaurant is beautiful and very clean. I really liked it here and will return to try to subs and buds. Excellent customer service and food options

Food quality and flavor is outstanding and customer service I can’t even begin to explain how incredible it was. We were welcomed with doors being held open and smiles everywhere. I came in today not even knowing it was opening day, and the food was fully paid for on the house! This location was also extremely clean and very well put together. I will for sure be coming back.

FIrst time visiting this place. Good parking. Walks were clear as it was snowing which was good.
Here for an early lunch and to meet with a student. Place was quiet and good for conversation.
Staff was very freindly and even tough one ordered at the counter, staff stopped by twice to ask how things were and even offered to talke pur empty plates. Not something that happens at similar locations which I found very nice.

A very extensive menu of snadwiches, soups and baked potatoes which they refer to as Giant Spuds. And the spuds did look large. The salads are also quite large. The student I was with ordered a side salad and it was quite large. And he enjoyed it. He also had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich which he said was good.

I ordered off the CHoose 2 menu. I had a half cup of Cheddar Broccolo and a half BLT+A (the A for avocado). The sandwich was very good, lots of bacon and the avocado was a nice addition. The soup was hot and good. When the staff person came by and asked if I needed anything, I asked for some crackers. She brought them right out. Sweet. The cost ended up being $12.69 which included an extra $1.50 for the BLT and I’m not sure why. Still the price was decent.

Both the sandwich and the Choose 2 came with a pickle spear that was good. I would have prefered a bag of chips, but that was extra. At some other places you would get chips as a side. So be it.

The iced tea was excellent – they also have sweet tea and two different lemonades that are good.

I also noticed that they had a sign abiout GLuten-free options. THe salads and giant spuds certainly being among those. WIll need to explore that on another trip.

Lastly, the staff and the atmosphere really add to the experience here. A very pleasant place to stop for a bite to eat.

Have tried two sandwiches so far and they were both very mid. At least it’s better than Panera!

Note: Learn from my mistake and read the menu carefully. If you order “nachos”, you will be served tortilla chips and cheese dip.

It does come with more chips than pictured, I obliterated half of them before taking the photo.

Never heard of McAlisters, we saw this new deli and thought we’d give a try. We had the French dip and it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. Fast and friendly service we will be back.

I had a half sandwich and half soup. My wife had just broccoli cheese soup. While my food was good, my wife’s soup was served way too hot. 15 minutes later it was still too hot to eat and I was well into my meal by that time. She said it was the worst dining experience she’s had in the last number of months. We definitely had different experiences which is why we have a three-star review here. Another odd item is that there was a lot of dust all over this restaurant. The napkin holder, the legs on the wall. I should pay attention and clean this stuff up.

It’s not often now days that I’m impressed with a restaurant but this place is great! First off, the place has a nice atmosphere, very bright and everyone is smiling and friendly. The turkey ruben i ordered (The Rachel) was delicious. I was so happy to see they had a healthy choice for a side, steamed broccoli, and it was good. Their salads look amazing too. I’ll definitely be back.

I had been waiting for this place to open It’s doors to the public for the first time. Last night, I just so happened to be in the immediate area there in the Green Ridge Shopping Center, so we stopped in for the first time since they had their grand opening.

And, it was well worth the wait. Simply put… nice place, good food, and friendly, hardworking staff. Pretty nice range of sandwhiches to choose from on the menu. My one and only extremely minor complaint is that they make their country potato soup a tiny bit on the thin side for my liking. But, nothing really bad. Plus, I think some people might like their potato soup a tiny bit thinner. I guess I say It’s a tiny bit thin because I got kind of used to eating cans of Chunky’s potato Soup from the grocery stores from time to time. (So, that part is on me). Again, It’s nothing that changes my opinion to the worse about McCallister’s Deli. Anyway, they have serve yourself fountain drinks (soda pop) and tea. Speaking of which, if you download their app and sign up for their rewards program, you get a free tea. All in all, after careful consideration, I can find no good reason to not give McCallister’s Deli 5 stars. As I said before, McCallister’s Deli was well worth the wait for It’s grand opening on Alpine Ave in Green Ridge Shopping Center. (In my opinion).

Very good restaurant. Honestly the best French dip I’ve ever had. There was a miscommunication where we only got rang up for a 6in sub when we wanted a foot long. They were more than willing to accommodate us and brought us the other half of the sandwich free of charge. We will definitely be back. Very good food and friendly staff.
