The sandwich was really good very flavorful, and the sauce is really good however the potato did not have a lot of toppings on there so it would have been a little bit better if they had a little bit more on there because the potato is not seasoned just by itself. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10.

I have been going here for years and havent had any issues at all.Good sandwiches salads and soups.It may be quite a wait at times because food is being prepared.I also love their ICE TEAS.ENJOY!!!!!!

Horrible. The cashier acted like they didnt want to be there. Im pretty sure they charged me twice as I get bank notifications on every transaction and its never notified me after a “failed” transaction like it did today. They didnt let us know our order was ready and they were slow anyway.

Horrible experience with the T-Mobile Tuesday promo. Placed an order online at 3:45pm for a 6:30 pickup. Arrived on time and was told “your order is not ready yet.” Waited another 20 minutes without anyone checking in on my order status. Finally the store manager realized my order did not come through and waited another 20 minutes to get my food. If you’re offering a promo at least be competent in fulfilling the orders…

If you are looking for chili with beans this is NOT the place for you. The “chili” was the topping used for chili dogs. Yuck Service was very, very slow. Atmosphere is pleasant.

My first experience with McAlisters was in Merrillville and it was so great. Then I found out there was this one, much closer to where I live and I couldn’t wait.
I have now been here three times over the span of maybe 8 months and the service has been the same each time. The people behind the counter seem bothered that you’re there, and act like you’re interrupting their hang out. and they’re very unfriendly.
This most recent visit the portions have shrunken severely and the prices have went up (which is expected these days unfortunately) however I was met with the same attitude when I arrived. In the middle of ordering the girl kept turning around to talk to the girl in the kitchen about her order and how she wanted it (I’m assuming she was getting food made for her for her break or something). Every time she asked me a question and I started to answer she would turn and answer their questions about her order and then she’d ask me to repeat myself. She also wore her air pods and couldn’t hear me well, which was just a side frustration. I stayed polite, because even tho it’s frustrating Im not trying to be confrontational.
After all of this, we finally got our food and my sandwich was the size of maybe 2 pickle spears. Lol. The total for the meal pictured (times two) was $38.
Will probably stop giving this location my money and save it for a trip to Merrillville.

Just went in there for a chili cheese baked potato, I lived in TX for many years. Over all it was much better down there. I’ve been to a few up here & its disappointing every time.

Joseph was very patient with our ordering. While we were truly indecisive, due to it being our first time there, he took the time to tell us the difference in the menu options. Patience is a virtue that is rare these days. Also his menu suggestions were pretty accurate. The food was good!

Good food clean place. Prices are reasonable for a meet / deli place. I like 1/2 of two items deal. I get a ruben ad pastrami. Lots of meet on them. Going to cost $8 – $12 for one person.
