Shrinkflation! The value isn’t there for your money. Very expensive! The food is good don’t get me wrong. It’s just sandwiches only at premium price You don’t even get french fries! They have cheap sides, but expensive prices for it. However, small portions! I paid $20.17 for a side garden salad and a club sandwich and a large iced tea. That’s ridiculous! The food portions are actually smaller than it looks in the pictures ..There was only two slices of bacon on the club sandwich! -Not bacon on all the quarters Of the sandwich. You don’t get the side salad you have to pay the extra price for it. It’s 4. 99 for a side salad That’s ridiculous as well. A regular sit-down restaurant would give you french fries soup or salad And a sandwich for a round $12 or $13. I’m sorry, but this is way overpriced and I won’t be back. They’re trying to come off as a gourmet deli and it’s not. It’s just a reason to hike up the price of the food. Food should not cost this much! And then they have the Nerve to ask for a tip! It’s a fast food restaurant! It’s takeout! There’s no waitress. You pick up after yourself and throw it away. You have to get your own refills! No, you’re not getting a tip for doing your job! Consider being reasonably priced moving forward… They’ve got everyone trained to believe that everything is expensive everywhere… While companies make record profits.

This was my first visit to McAlister’s in Middleburg Hts. I assumed it was a sit down restaurant with Servers but it is not. You order food at the counter, online or at the drive thru. The menu consisted of soup, salad, deli sandwiches and spuds (baked potatoes). They offer a “choose 2” option, which is 1/2 soup, salad, sandwich or spud + another half for $10.99. There is an up charge for Premium options that are marked with a red “P”. My total was $12.19 including tip for the Choose 2.
I tried the 1/2 spud with chili and cheese and 1/2 grilled chicken club sandwich. Food was fresh and came out quickly. Service was Excellent! Nice decor too with big screen TV’s and clean restrooms.Highly recommend McAlister’s!

I had my first Grilled Chicken King Club and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were great, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. I’ll definitely be ordering it again and can’t wait to try more sandwiches from the menu!

This is my first time here. Was going to Starbucks, then saw this. So, I thought i would try it. Had an excellent salad. The atmosphere is nice, quiet. Most of all, the staff was EXCELLENT! Very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend.

Duluth location was a disappointment in total experience.
This location was an interesting experience.
Clean deli, fresh food, but 23 min making TWO sandwiches? The customer service was in need of ” HI, I’m here to help you,” not what do you want to order . The back end was quite noisy for an almost empty deli. The sandwiches made well, the Mac n cheese great flavor. The Ceasar salad needs more dressing, not a teaspoon of it, compared to the salad portion.
Overall, we will come back for the food notwithstanding the service apathy.

My job ordered catering for our Christmas lunch on Dec 19th. Arrived at a perfect time! She even helped set it up. All the amenities as well! Great food and service!! Cute holiday cookies! Everything was well packed!

Honestly the food is good but the service by some employees is just terrible. We got take out today for 3 sandwiches and 3 sides. We went in and grabbed the order. The girl that was working the take out was just absolutely clueless. She was standing there staring at my mom like she forgot she had a job or something. Then when my mom provided the name she only gave us one bag when on the receipt it said “2 bags” so the girl would know to hand us two bags. If she cannot read “2 bags” on a receipt in bright pink highlighter then she should not be working. She was clueless and seemed disoriented, almost like she was on another planet. Like if you gotta work while high fine, whatever, but make sure you can actually do your job and you’re not zooted to Mars. I worked in fast food and never experienced this from myself or other employees. I’m glad we got a refund and also glad that there’s going to be a new one opening by us that hopefully has better service and not a clueless person. Like I get if it’s her first day but if it IS her first day, why is there no body helping her? Maybe she has some sort of colorblindness where she can’t see pink against white but that should have been reported to management or somebody so they could accommodate her. Yes, it is partially our fault for not looking at the receipt but she handed my mom the bag with the receipt facing away from my mom so she couldn’t check. I get that high schoolers need part time jobs to help themselves or others but they shouldn’t be this pathetic.
Edit: salad is mid and I ate everything and still felt hungry afterwards. It’s like a deli version of Panera, comfort food but you’re still hungry afterwards

It’s a great place to grab a quick lunch or even a dinner if you’re looking for a deli style sandwich. Everything was very fresh, good size portion, and priced fairly. We were impressed with the quality of the food for the amount of money we spent. Recommend this to others and we will definitely come back ourselves

Save your money ! The food was decent but way too much for what you’re getting. I ordered pickup. My soup (Broccoli Cheddar) wasn’t even full but was so so good. Way better than Panera’s. The chicken tortilla soup was good and had a nice spiciness to it. Both sandwiches were good but very salty. (I had a half Rueben and husband had a full New Yorker) I’ve had other stuff from them in the past and it’s good.
I just strongly feel like you’re not getting your monies worth. The fruit cup was $3 and definitely not worth it ! The Mac n Cheese was outstanding !! One of the best. The cucumber tomato salad was good but I added salt and pepper and ranch to make it better. The deserts were worth their price (I guess *shrug*) but the carrot cake was too sweet & I looove cake. Probably won’t be back unless I can splurge.
