My husband went in to McAlister’s Deli on Delaware Ave in McComb for carry out meal. Manager was very helpful explaining their gluten free options. Everything was delicious.

Food is consistent with all other McAlister’s restaurants, so it’s good as expected. My only reason for giving them two stars instead of five was that they would not take a call in order after 9:30, I called at 9:28 and hung up after being told they couldn’t take my order at 9:33. Talk about splitting hairs! It’s potato soup LoL LoL LoL, only reason I didn’t tell the lazy staff to kick rocks was because my wife was giving birth to our first child soon at the hospital near by and that’s what she wanted. So I walked in and placed the same order. Sad these young people are so lazy. I’ve been eating here two to three times a week but that’s over now. Most my pictures are from previous meals from them FYI.

I went today and was so disappointed I wanted the a potato and they claimed to be out. But I stood there for 6 minutes without my order being taken I and it was only 2 people in there me and a man that was already eating! I really feeling like they didn’t want to be bothered with me. This was my first time to eat at McAlister’s in McComb. They are brand new and I think this was the first week they were open. I called in an order and went through the drive through to pick up my order. The experience going through the line was really good. I know they were super busy so naturally the call took a couple of minutes, but the pickup was extremely fast for how busy they were. You just drive up to the screen and select your name and click here and then go right to the window and pick up your food. It was a great experience. I got the grilled chicken salad and a loaded spud. Both were really good. The store itself looks very handicap friendly. I am not handicapped but I see handicap parking right in the front door and easy access for a wheelchair to get straight in the front door. It looks like it would also be very easy to get a wheelchair to the outdoor seating area. The parking lot was lit well also. I had a great experience. I will certainly be going back.

I love McAlister’s! Everything on the menu is tasty. I find myself visiting more often during this heat wave because no one wants to use a stove in 98 degree weather. The kids’ menu is priced appropriately and my boys love the options more than McDonalds. You can’t beat the Pick 2 menu option! I usually get a potato and grilled chicken salad.

UPDATE NOV 25: Stopped by today. Food was fantastic! I had a Reuben and my wife had a customized “craft” sandwich that consisted of corned beef on chibatta bread. As always, the staff was friendly and got our order to us quickly.
My wife and I go to McAlisters in McComb every month or so even though it is 1 hour from our home.
The food is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Today there was a slight snack with our order. Joseph apologized and resolved the issue asap.

BTW, a nice surprise is how amazingly good their cookies are. I had a brownie (delicious-reminds me of Mrs. Fields) and my wife had a lemon blueberry cookie. Both were scrumptious!

Go to Sunday lunch after a morning hunt. A warm soup or a fresh salad is my go-to but all options are great and fresh. Got to have a fresh iced tea! Thanks for the replacement ornament!!
