They charged us extra for everything. Even though the sign said it was included. Sides are included with sandwich, but not the fruit cup, it’s extra. Manager said everybody knows fruit is extra. Kids meal charges extra to change from American cheese to cheddar cheese, but they didn’t tell us. Manager said everybody knows changing cheese is a premium service. Charges extra for kids meal drink. How is it a meal with no drink? My daughter said the sandwich tasted bad and she wouldn’t eat it. Her Milk had gone bad too, but im afraid to go say anything. Daughter’s fruit cup was .79 extra , but wife’s fruit side was 1.49 extra. They are same size. Apparently there’s some sign over in a hard to see corner that explains all this. I was supposed to go look at that, rather than trust the sides explanation over the sandwich menu.
Worst of all, when we asked about them sending a message up the chain that we felt like the menus were confusing and contradicting, we were given a big long disrespectful condescending explanation about how that would not do any good cause we don’t understand how their system works. So much more talk and condescension than was necessary. Why could they not just say were sorry. Our hands are tied. We’ll pass along your message. Manager claims he did say that. Maybe I missed it in all the other vague confusing words.
Update: After calling them, as requested, the rep seemed confused by the reference number they told me to refer to. Nothing at all was done to make this right with us. We were told someone would contact us, but no one has.

I placed a catering order on 03.28.24 with a variety of sandwiches as well as a cookie tray. I’m appalled by subpar food prepared and even more upset at the lack of concern from the management staff. The roast beef served on the club sandwich was tainted and made 2 employees sick. I called and left a message the same day. I have YET to receive a call back or an apology!! I contacted the local store again today and spoke with Katie who I assume is a manager of some type. She became defensive during the call and went on to tell me how the meat and preparation was accurate, and there should’ve not been any issues. I ORDER FROM MCALISTERS IN PERSON OR ONLINE AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK!!! I have nothing to profit from lying!!! I am just wondering how can she speak on an even that occurred 12 days ago. Her defending of course made me defensive, as it should have, so I responded appropriately. Still no apology or even a suggestion to restore my trust in their ability to offer some level of customer service, even mediocre at this point is acceptable. She then tells me she would speak with her manager and see what could be done. I am livid to say the least and I will patronize ever again. I’ve had a few bad experiences but this tops it all. I should have know better when I picked up the cookie try and they were literally cut in half. DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!!!

The girl at the counter made sure to do everything thing possible to not hand me my food that has been sitting there ready for the past 18 minutes. She is playing with some stickers for what I guess is online orders and then takes everyone else’s orders while mine is steadily sitting there getting cold.
