We were passing through this area and decided to stop for a quick meal. This was a very good decision! The staff that works here are so pleasant and made us feel welcome. The service was great and the food was wonderful. I would recommend eating at this McAlisters 10/10.

Arrived to the McAlsiters Deli location in Clinton,MS at 6pm and order food for me and my girlfriend. The host Octavia (if that’s even her name ) did not greet us much less act like she wanted to be at work.

Apparently she cannot hear well also as I constantly had to repeat my order. Sadly even after repeating my order it still came out wrong and had to get sent back after waiting 20+ minutes for one of two entrees and a nacho app that was ordered.

Sadly I had to make numerous trips to the counter for missing side ltems after I had to send salad back for remake due to host error (not wanted items not even on receipt bc of supposed hearing impairment).

I will never in my life agree to pay someone more than minimum wage when they cannot even greet a customer with a smile and get their order correct the first time.

Also why are they all but begging for tips when all they do is take your order? It’s literally the first thing you see when you go to use your card to pay. Go actually be a server and walk the floor to earn your money, my gf does it and so can you.

My order is pictured as for the visually impaired. I will spell it out.

(1) nacho app extra Jalapeños
(2) grilled chicken salad no tomatoes/cucumber
(3) Big Nasty with tater salad for a side
(4) sweet tea x2 one with lemons
(5) side of tater soup.

It took me 30 mins and walking back and forth to get all of the food I actually ordered. Yes If look at the cameras I’m still sitting in booth 114 at 6:52p.m. In a blue shirt.

Also both 114 seat is a hazard due to a missing button that will poke you.

Plenty of pictures attached to show they was indeed not busy.

Since COVID, every time I come to this location, the service is bad and food is slapped together. I ordered a club sand which, no tomato, and I got this slapped together thing. plus they forgot the bacon. But I know they weren’t out of bacon because my mom’s salad had bacon. My sisters pizza was burnt. Customer service is terrible. Other customers were complaining while waiting. I won’t be giving this location another chance. I feel like my money has been wasted.

This is ridiculous how lazy these people are. They act as if they can not read at all. My order was wrong. I paid almost $9 for a sandwich and was given nacho chips in a container. My veggie spud had Hardly any topping and most definitely not the extra toppings that I paid for. Then the Little night shift manager didn’t even apologize for my order being completely wrong and not how I ordered. She could not supposedly refund by money since it was an online order. The service and quality here is below standards. Avoid at all cost.

Why is only one young lady working the counter??? She was rude and lacked customer service skills tremendously. Let’s not talk about how her hair should have been in a hair net or pulled back. Why are orders constantly incorrect? Reading is fundamental.

Sandwich was delicious, however there was a line at the door and only one employee taking orders. That wasn’t a big issue, however this location is certainly lacking cleanliness. There were no 4+ top tables clean and ready for other guests to sit to eat at. No employees were bussing the tables until it became obvious that it had to be done, nobody took initiative. Guests were wiping their tables with the napkins from the dispenser. Plus, there were 7 dead flies on the window sill, some with dust. So I would like to ask the manager in charge of this location as to how does he/she not notice the obvious lack of cleanliness at their location? It’s certainly something I would be able to take notice and initiative in my store.

The soccer team I coach had a game tonight @ 6:00. Upon leaving the soccer fields at Traceway, I started trying to call McAlister’s to place a to-go order. I called 17x between 7:15-7:45. Nobody ever answered…I wondered if perhaps their failure to answer the phone (for a solid 30 minutes) could be attributed to a mad dinner rush? When I walked in, I was disappointed to find that out of the 25-30 table tops, only 5 were occupied, and there were two people waiting on their food? I asked when I ordered at the register if there was an issue with the phone lines or something- just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. She didn’t ever answer my question and gave me a blank stare when I explained why I was inquiring about the phones. In the photos (which depict the state of the restaurant when I walked in, and the quality of the food) it is quite clear that pure neglect is the only logical explanation.
