The worst service ever. 5 ppl working & they were failing apart by 1:00pm. Waited 45 for a to-go order. They threw everything into a bag, usually I get my order in a container not sure what changed. I bought 3 sandwiches & they were all Wet with soft tomatoes and soggy undercooked bacon. One of the sandwiches had a deli meat paper in it. My husband bit into it and swallowed some of the paper. You can imagine the outrage. We drove 25 minutes. It was very upsetting & disappointing. I don’t recommend. We chose not to go back & make a scene. Staff really needs training and a leader to help them out .

I was at the FT,Myers location last night 3/5/26 7:30pm. Placed my order to eat in, had to repeat 3 times (the attendant seemed to be new). I didn”t mind. Paid had got my drink’s, sat, soon after our appetizer came out, very good. Soon after that our same attendant came and gave us our entrees. She said ” here’s your Reuben and Italian. I said no it’s a New Yorker and Italian. She took the plates back and said yes these are the New Yorker and Italian. I said ok. They were correct. It’s just that she had said Reuben so I thought she had made a mistake. Food was good. We sat waiting on our dessert and it didn’t come. Went up front to ask for the dessert. She told the person in the back, I waited. Then she puts a bag on the counter and calls the attendant who gives it to me. I said this was for eat in. She replied do you want it on a plate.????? Yes please she put it back on the counter for the kitchen, waited a little. Then the lady in the kitchen throws the plate down hard, almost slid off the counter and called the attendant back , she gave me the dessert and asked me if I wanted spoons. ????? I said out loud how nasty to treat someone like that for asking for what you paid for and such bad service.
I didn’t catch there names but the attendant was african american with long brai ds and the one in the kitchen was white with glasses. I can excuse the attendant as she seemed to be new and nervous. But the lady in the kitchen was down right rude !!!!!!

Update Aug 15 2025. The app made me sign in twice. They could not find my order. No options on add to request no ice or dressing on the side.

I love the gluten sensitive veggie chili and salad with chopped grill chicken also gluten free
The indoor tables are arranged in 2 separate areas to reduce noise and out door seating at tables with umbrellas.
Fountain drinks, unsweet tea,and sweet tea behind the counter and you can get free refills.
just ask.
Great service and quick food not fast food
Kids menu includes pretzel dogs, Mac n cheese, pizza and a spud aka loaded baked potato.
Kids high chairs and diaper changer

Nice and clean restaurant serving deli style food. Host/cashier was very attentive and helpful. We like the displays introducing the specials. It took about 20 minutes for our meals. The grilled cheese sandwich was burnt (as you can see in the photo). The Savannah Chopped salad was very good though. Prices were reasonable and portion size was good. Lots of parking and lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

if i could write a 0 star review i would. i sat waiting for an hour for my food and when i went to ask about it they told me they didn’t have my bread. so they were going to let me sit there all day and never tell me they didn’t have the ingredients to make my food. when i went to get a refund they would not refund my whole order when i waited for an hour for food they weren’t even going to make or tell me they couldn’t. will never come back and i recommend going to any other McAlisters than this one.

Very disappointed in the entire situation. Definitely the worst sandwich shop in Lee County. Subway move aside for poor quality subs!

Usually we go to jasons deli, gave this place a chance because others recommended it. They are bad from the sandwich down to the broccoli soup. It’s the worst food ever taste like it’s from a bag!

Had the mac and cheese it taste so over cooked and bland. Never going back to this place ever again! They need to really update there vendors and get better meat and produce and bread.

WEAK and like hospital food has better food than this place!

If I could leave this place zero stars, I would. I never write negative reviews, but the way that this location handles their customers is awful. I went on my lunch break, I ordered 2 sodas and a sandwich with no sides. I waited 15 minutes for a sandwich with no sides and never got it. I understand they had online and to go orders, but I ordered one sandwich and waited 15 minutes. After waiting, I asked how long until I received my ONE sandwich with no sides and they told me another 10-15 minutes. I said I couldn’t wait that long because I had to get back to class and would just like a refund, the girl at the checkout counter then went to ask someone in the kitchen for help with my refund and I could see and hear them telling her just to write my info down because they didn’t have time to refund a credit card. I asked if the manager could just come out and run my card or look it up and give me a refund and a printed copy of the refund receipt and they said they don’t do that abd the manager was not on duty and just to leave my phone number and name and the last4 digits of my CC. I was pressed for time so I did, then came back at the end of my day to see if they were less busy if they could issue me a formal refund, to which the worker there got on the phone with her manager informing me there was no manager on site and asked me to write down the last 4 of my card AGAIN and my name and number. When I asked what happened to the first piece of paper I wrote my info down on she said she didn’t know they were very busy and they lost it. I asked if their manager could give me a call in the morning to let me know they refunded me, when she didn’t and I had to call the manager myself to request the refund or ask about the status of the refund for the food I never got, she said they were really busy and asked me to call back at another time. It is season in SWFL and their unpreparedness in the staffing department should not affect their customers this way and their employees should be trained how to issue a refund on a Point of Sales system so that they aren’t reliant on a manager who isn’t even at the store during lunch hour.

Stopped by for a quick sandwich but it took over 40 minutes, so I asked for a refund. Another customer also asked for his money back after waiting over 40 minutes. The manager told him it would be another 15 minutes, so he asked for a refund.
I requested the manger to come to the front counter, so I could speak to her but she was too busy to be bothered or scared of the ear full I was going to give her. Besides the extremely slow service……my original selection (The New Yorker) was denied since they were out of Corned Beef.
By reading the past reviews you’ll see this sandwich shop is HABITUALLY notorious for slow service.
Spare yourself the frustration and drive one block over to the Firehouse Sandwich Shop for a fast and delicious sandwich.

The best deli sandwiches in town. In lots of towns. Delicious and fresh, made to order and delivered accurately for lots of lunches at work. Everything I’ve tried has been excellent but the menu is so big it’ll take a while to try everything. I’m looking forward to it. Go and try it out yourself and take someone with you. You’ll be happy you found this place but subway won’t. Lol.

This McAllister at the forum is our favorite. The staff is always top tier and very polite. The service is always great. The food is top tier mcalisters cuisine. My favorite is the jalapeño turkey crunch but another favorite is the southwest chicken sandwich. If you’re into Reuben’s or pastrami try the New Yorker or the Reuben. We are weekly customers!
