When we arrived the same day we received the coupon, we realized it had an expiration date that had technically already passed. Without hesitation, the staff graciously honored it anyway with warm smiles and zero hassle. Their kindness and outstanding customer service truly made the experience even better.
Thank you for the incredible food and exceptional hospitality — we’ll definitely be back (this time as paying customers)!
Yesterdays visit was loaded with disappointment.
The sandwiches, chili, potatoes, red beans and rice were room temperature when brought to the table.
The cheese was already hard on the tater and sandwiches.
The prices have increased but the quality went down. Not a good combo.
Our receipt felt higher than normal for what we got. Turns out there is hidden little gems that when you order that with that it’s one price but when you order it with that or without that it’s another price.
Kind of a back door extra expense with no explanation.
Yes, our bill was adjusted slightly, but only because the one ringing it up “didn’t explain it” as she was doing it. We didn’t ask at the register, so that made no sense. Cause neither of us were paying attention to the others orders at the counter…we ordered and we paid. Then we sat down and looked at the receipt.
For a slice of cheese the sandwiches,it was $1.29 and $1.49. For a piece of cheese…on a sandwich, in a deli.
Cold cheese at that on cold (“hot”) bread.
The ladies room….after several employees went in there and one was still in there when I went in…all the garbage cans were overflowing, trash on the floor and the cans had paper towels nearly a foot above the tops. Toilets needed cleaning, handicap stall was bad-bad. The mirrors were dirty rag streaked and loaded with water spots. And that same employee was primping in the mirror..still…. After she used the toilet, primped and didn’t wash her hands. Yeah. I notice those things. ️
In general and overall, not a good experience.
Off day- maybe.
Excusable- nope.
Second, I ordered the pork nachos for $12 and they were absolutely horrible. Inedible. I tried my hardest to eat it (and not send it back) but I couldn’t stomach another bite. It was a complete waste of money.
The girl at the counter was very kind and helpful but the manager thought that I was just trying to get free food and refused to replace the meal, only offer a half sandwich.
It is absolutely ridiculous that they even sell this to people. This was the first and last time I will ever eat at a McAllisters.
We ordered the ultimate nachos and the BLT. When the food came out the nachos were gross and the avocado on it was rotten and spoiled. The portion sizes were pathetic for what we paid for them. We asked the staff to just remake it without the avocados and they gave us the plain ones instead and didn’t comp the price difference between them.
It was a massive waste of $25 going there and I want a refund. We all left still hungry and I left even more nauseous than when I went in.
Both of our orders were messed up. And I specifically said no tomato on my sandwich opened it up and there it was I had to scrape it off with most of my cheese. My potato soup was so watery and barely had any potatoes in it. The bill was $28 for two sandwiches tonight. Definitely not worth it.
