McAlister’s is one of my favorite places to eat in Niceville. They offer a variety of fresh menu options prepared by friendly staff. While it’s a bit on the pricey side, it’s worth it for the safe location, table delivery service, and consistently clean dining area. Occasionally, the potatoes can be overcooked or dry, but the soups, salads, and sandwiches are always top-notch.

I enjoyed my time here. I thought their red beans and rice for Mardi Gras was kinda of weak and watered down, but the sandwich was great and the service just as well. Very clean, open and people were kind and helpful.

I enjoyed a nice lunch in a clean restaurant. The portions were generous and the dressing distinctively good. I shared a Southwestern salad and had the chili lime dressing. It has a good zing. The seats near the windows are bright and add to the refreshing feel of a meal here. Funny thing to note but the water was actually fresh. Some restaurants have great food and stale water. McAlister’s was fresh.

Two different times I have ordered delivery from this place. The first two pictures are from today. This is a HALF of a regular half of a French dip and there is green stuff on it which indicates cross contamination with the knifes they are using. Then a few weeks ago they only put one slice of roast beef on the French dip sandwich. I’m over spending $20 a meal when I don’t even get a full meal portions. -.-

Friendly staff here goes above and beyond to accommodate! They know the menu well and can help you with selections if you have certain dietary restrictions. Excellent food and just an all around great place! The potatoes are huge!! It’s like getting two potatoes in one and the salads are lovely and if you can’t finish they give you a nice container to take the rest home in!

Not the best McAlister’s by far. The ridiculous pressure to tip at the register is laughable. The place is barely clean and on the poor side of average for hygiene. So, they want you to leave a tip from the go…no. The order came out incorrect, the side mac & cheese was cold, starchy, and gross. This happened last time I was here too. I don’t know if I’ll ever come back. I am glad I didn’t leave a tip like last time. I got burned twice…one with a tip, one without. $18.00, you’d think it would be worth the price, but no. I will stay a McAlister’s fan, but this one is no good.
