We dinner outside here. I got a simple meal of turkey sandwich, broccoli cheddar soup, and mac & cheese and it was perfect. I ate a lot of fancy food on this trip, but sometimes you just need simple comfort food and this really hit the spot. My sister, however, got the loaded potato and I thought it was going to tip the table over, it was SO FREAKING HUGE. Good grief! I took a photo of it with my hand for reference; just look at that monster. I think McAlister’s needs to rename that one the “Spudzilla!”
The real reason we went there, however, was because my stepmom was on a quest for the perfect carrot cake and this place was the clear winner. It looked like any other carrot cake, but it was soft and spicy and dare I say….moist. LoL Seriously though, it was the best carrot cake I’ve ever eaten. For anyone interested in the carrot cake competition, the Arnold Palmer Legends Country Club carrot cake came in second place.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was better than I had expected, never having been to this chain before. Sat outside and listened to the music at the square. Food came out quickly. I’ll be coming back to sample more of their menu items.

My wife and i were here yesterday. My compliments to the mangement. I watched two employees working the eating area. One person bussed the tables very quickly and another person was there properly cleaning the tables. They both walked around cleaning! It was nice to see a clean resturant and some pride in it. THANK YOU!

The food is always fantastic. Service is impeccable. They even get upset when you try to clear your own table after eating.
The atmosphere is not that of a Michelin rated restaurant, but is pleasant for its niche in the fast food genre.

McAlisters is a favorite dining experience for us. There’s none close to where we live so when we are near one at lunch time we head for it. We have been to this before. As always, the service was exceptional, the food was excellent and the place was very clean and comfortable and the other customers were engaging and pleasant.

Stopped by in our way back from a wedding in Jacksonville. It’s a walk up and order deli but delivery and clean up at your table of choice. Had the Italian sub along with other sandwiches for the family. They absolutely stack the sandwich with meat. Everything was great but my bread fell apart due to the oil on the bread. A must try for a quick sandwich. We had our dog and they were very accommodating outside. Great service!

Finding vegan options in this area is tough. I was very surprised to see that McAlisters in Brownwood Square had vegetarian chilli and it was good! It was hearty, fresh & delicious. Staff was very nice and attentive. My short visit in was all I needed to know that i will be back.

Every time I go in there, I don’t know what to do. Everyone just looks at you. Today, two ladies, one working and one not working were chit chatting as I was waiting on an order. She never looked one time to see me at the counter. A man from the back was asked to come out to see a child the nonworking lady had in her arms. When he came out, he noticed I was standing at the counter and told the working lady I was waiting. Under her breath she said, “I just tied up the bag.” I would not have waited so long if you tied up the bag earlier instead of chit chatting. Hopefully, my third experience will be better, as I want to eat there sometime!!

This place is top-notch for your classic deli foods! Sandwiches, salads, potatoes and soups! Lots of options.. I wish I can come back and try every one of their soups!
I had the Fire roasted veggie soup and the Smokehouse Potato.. delicious! Simple but so good!
And their salad options looked great! Staff is friendly and efficient.. the wait time was minimal! I def recommend this place and wish I had one near where I live!
