My wife and I loved McAllister’s back in Illinois, so when they opened one here in Middle Georgia.
Overall, the food has been good the few times we have gone to this location, However, service and the time to get you food are less than desirable. This last time our food took 30 minutes to come out. We were confused because we saw other tables getting their food that came in after us. We didn’t order anything special. Also, ordering was a struggle as the cashier wasn’t listening or communicating back with us.
I believe it may have been a MGR that eventually brought our food out. When we asked what the issue was, he just stated he was sorry several times it took so long. Pretty sure our order just got lost in the shuffle somehow… the restaurant was not very busy at the time. He did offer to give us a dessert of some kind and we said no thank you.
We will try again another time and hope for a better experience!

Probably the best service in town. Young lady taking orders, her name started with a J and she had long braids, was very polite and walked around checking on people.
Food was great, hot quick and correct!

Very pleasurable time while eating. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They are anxious to help. Sandwiches are made fresh as you order. A very short wait for food as it was brought out to the table. It was my 1st time there and I will certainly be back with others to enjoy. I had the 1/2 club sandwich with the potato soup combo.

I ordered for lunch, 1/2 and 1/2. I got abowl of soup (ok) and a quarter of a sandwich (3inches). Ask why so small, not 1/2 like the others. I was told by manager that’s what the manager said comes with it. I gave it all back and got No refund.

We wanted a light lunch after shopping and decided to stop at McAlister’s.
Service was quick and friendly and it was not super busy. There is plenty of seating and it was clean.
The cashier recommend the Memphian for my son (he doesn’t like condiments or a lot of extras on his sub and few changes were needed). I got the Pecan salad and hubby got the Grilled chicken salad. We also got a chipotle chicken and bacon spud. The potato was actually two potatoes and more than enough for all of us. I will say they should put a little more toppings as we had a lot of leftover potato to take home and no toppings to go with it.
We all enjoyed the food and have even went back to try different menu items since our first visit.

Great experience, makes you feel a little healthy eating a salad and a sandwich. The 2fer is what I always enjoy. Their serving time has gotten way faster, not that I used to mind. Always good and I keep coming back. Definitely use the rewards program on the app, I got my usual for 1.20 today, all I paid for was my lemonade. I was hungry and excited today so I devoured my sandwich before I remembered to take a picture. I will try to remember next time. I will be back!

My French dip sandwich was not as good as it’s been before. The cheese was melted, but part of the meat was still cold, especially at the end of the sandwich where the bread comes together.
My husband ordered the New Yorker with chips and a pickle. He ordered it without cheese because of allergies. When the sandwich arrived, it had cheese on it. It was sent back and they replaced it with a new sandwich.

UPDATE: The service has gone way downhill. We sat at a table in the restaurant and ordered from the app. After waiting 30 minutes and still no food, and watching all the people who had ordered their food after us receive theirs, we stopped a young lady who was bringing food out to the tables.
She looked very annoyed that we had stopped her and rolled her eyes. When my husband inquired about the food for our table number, she said, “If you ordered something with a baked potato, we are out of potatoes.” Seems like they could have informed us when we placed the order there were no potatoes to see what the second choice would be. Or at least brought out what food they did have. Instead, they didn’t fulfill the order and let us sit there and wait for no food. Needless to say, we asked to cancel the order and we left with no food.

I’ve also had the French dip, it was good too. My husband had the Reuben, and liked it. They put LOTS of meat in the sandwiches. The Savannah salad was really fresh and a large portion.

My wife called me crying about how they wouldn’t sell her a half spud with cheese dip on top. They wouldn’t do it, they forced her to buy the full size Potato which is a lot even for one person. Btw
Big one looks to be 2 half baked potatoes put together anyways. So I don’t understand why they wouldn’t do it. when a pregnant lady in her third trimester has a craving for a half spud with cheese dip… you should be able to sell just the half spud… with the cheese dib on top. She can’t finish the whole meal and we hate wasting food. Very disappointed in the service today. Otherwise, food here is great. Will come again, hopefully to a better experience .
