This was not my first meal here. My first meal I was not at all impressed with. However I ate at a metro diner in Charlotte, NC that swept me off my feet. Looking for a sandwich online like that one lead me back to McAlister’s. I am so happy I took the chance. This is the best club sandwich I have had at a deli style restaurant in Athens. The quality of the ham and turkey is phenomenal. It did not disappoint! I will return going forward.

Visited several months ago. Manager gave us a gift card for complimentary Meal expiring tomorrow. Tried to redeem. Employees said they can’t honor it. Asked who gave it. I told them the manager and he even signed it. See the picture. Still no complimentary meal.

I have been on a McAllister’s kick lately. I work a part0time night job and McAllister’s is convenient. I get the same sandwich at least once a week and sometimes two times. My sandwich today gets two stars. It had half the meat on it that my sandwich had on Monday and wash totally squished when wrapped in the paper. Overall my experience has been good over the past few months, but the visit today fell well below expectations. Will I go back? I will give it another try next week and then make a decision.

I have visited this location a handful of times. Every time, the employees are obviously unhappy and rude. Usually, the food is still pretty good. The other day, I got my food after everyone who ordered after me, half an hour after I ordered. When we finally got our food, the employee told us to check it after the people in the back tied the bag so tight that I had to rip it completely to check as instructed. I checked that we got what we ordered and went home. I ordered a smoked pepper jack turkey sandwich and found very little bacon and a single kernel of corn inside it. My partner got a club sandwich that was in shambles, as if they did not even attempt to put it together so it could be consumed. I doubt I will return. The best thing about this place are the s’mores cookies.

Nina greeted me and made my day, during a crazy manic Monday at work. She was so friendly, nice and helpful! The food was so delicious and fresh ! I had the garden fresh turkey sandwich. I highly recommend McAlisters, and thank you to Nina for being so hospitable!!

Great food but the staffing was not. The worker in the front was extremelyyy slow, even left the food i ordered sitting at kitchen for so long and there was a mess up with it. Not sure if they’re understaffed but the food took a really long time and the person in front kept going to the back. Seems like they need two people in the front. A lot of the other customers seemed like they were upset as well with how long it was taking. Really loved this place but i felt like i lost a lot of my time after this experience…
