So a spud max for $12 comes dry. Light sprinkle of cheese, barely any toppings. You’d think for the price they could afford to put toppings. Guess not. Definitely don’t recommend this place. People who run the front end don’t know how to open their mouths wide enough while speaking and it comes out as a very low mumble. When customers need something the associates make eyeballs with one another as to see who will cave on who’s gonna help. These people are in the wrong profession…or is mcalisters just going down hill as a whole? Because most locations in SC are terrible.

I had not been back to McAlister’s for a few years but my m.i.l loves this place. I didn’t have the app but I called in my order. The A.i. assistant worked flawlessly (it helped to know exactly what we wanted from the menu). Pick up was set for 20 minutes later. The food arrived on time. I knew how much I was going to pay, including the 3% order online fee.
Upon entering the restaurant, I ‘felt’ / saw the same family friendly ambiance experienced when we came there years ago when our children were young.
At home, My m.i.l loved her bowl cheesy broccoli soup. My wife’s salad (minus croutons) was so-so, along with its perfectly tasteless tomatoes. I’m not sure how fresh the lettuce was. My son eats anything and was happy with his King club sandwich. The 3 meals cost $39.

We went inside and nobody asked us our order or even talked to us. We waited about 10 mins and the people in front of us left because they never acknowledged them either. We ended up leaving because nobody would take our order

I ordered the choose 2 meal. I had the smoked pepper turkey sandwich with the chipotle chicken bacon spud. My meal tasted great and came out fresh. Staff was friendly, establishment was clean, and no real complaints. Sweet tasted pretty good as well

The customer service at this location is terrible. I walked in for lunch (01/17/26 @ 1:30) & waited at the counter for 5-10 minutes & was not greeted. instead i was look over by the cashier. once she did decide to take my order the manager yelled from the kitchen for her to stop taking my order & to do something else. I then left the restaurant. The manager needs to learn professionalism.

November 4, 2022- came and had the French dip and the Smokey chicken sandwich. Both were good per usual. Bathroom was clean but there was no soap to wash your hands. Their famous Sweet tea wasn’t sweet. More watered down.

Let me tell you the food is sooo good. Whoever is doing the cooking over there really know what they doing. The nachos were so delicious good God. I have really stuffed myself and they also have my favorite cake of all time which is Carrot Cake and it’s so good I went back the next day and got another piece. Great sandwich shop, great service with a smile. Lots of options. I registered and created a login and ordered online while on the road, followed their map and boom! It was very accurate for timing. Orders were perfect. No errors. I completed a survey and got a cookie for free.

What’s going on with take-out? We are trying to entertain someone who came all the way from California. We thought we were sharing the best restaurants but this was a bad experience. Our total order was $70. But I’m showing pics of the one potato that this place is known for. (All of them look like this ) We can’t eat this! This order was very disappointing. DoorDash driver very courtesy and on time. The problem was not the delivery it is the quality of the food. My advice: Look at the food before you bag it. If you wouldn’t eat it, why are you sending it for us to eat it?

This was our first time eating at a McAllister Deli so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It is like a lot of places where you go to the counter, order, pay, get your number plate, and go sit down. The workers were very nice and friendly. They bring the food to your table when it is ready. What a sandwich! I didn’t even try and eat it all. It was so thick it hurt my mouth trying to open that wide to take a bite. I ended up only eating half and even that was pushing it since I was so full. I had potato salad as a side ( a side comes with the sandwich) and it was very good also. I would definitely go back again.
