The food is consistently good. It’s gotten more expensive though. The hot bar/salad bar used to be $7.99 a pound but now it’s $9.99 a pound which means that every meal will always be well over $10, usually closer to $20. The price on sandwiches has gone up also.

A buffet-style place, but a really good one. The food includes hot dishes, salad bar, sandwich counter (and a few others) and a huge selection of beverages. I go here when I’m in a hurry, and the staff are quite helpful and friendly. The atmosphere isn’t award- winning, but it’s a quiet, clean little dining room and that’s what matters to me when I want a quick lunch.

We were very disappointed. Their pancakes, though large and very reasonably priced, were heavy and tasteless. My husband said his omelet was “OK” but it didn’t come with our original order because the waitress didn’t take it down with the rest of the foods requested. We’ll probably try again for lunch to see if it’s better, but we won’t bother with breakfast again.

I live in Maine..and I go to Mcquades every time I visit for their awesome breakfast..especially Sunday breakfast buffet! The variety is incredible and the food is always delicious.
