This would have been a five star review. However, food was amazing, server was great. We decided to spend time here for a 90th bday party and they made zero effort to accommodate this. I expected at least a dessert with a candle or something.

What a great place! The food seems genuine Italian. It’s reasonably priced but you get a lot of food for it. Huge wine selection. I had the bison lasagna which was fantastic. Fed me for two days! Not to mention the meatball appetizer. Two huge meatballs and they’re so good. Not to dry and full of flavor. The staff was great and friendly. I will be going there again

Mazzola’s was great. Tasty Italian food, reasonably priced, friendly staff, nice, fun vibe. Several vegetarian options; we ordered a minestrone soup, a salad, a pasta and a pizza. Everything was great, very tasty. They have a full bar, good selection of high quality wines and cocktails. Make a reservation here as the place gets busy.

By far our favourite restaurant in Steamboat. Down-to-earth, friendly, delicious. An underground space, easy to find. Must try its pizzas and fried calamari. Tips: Do RSVP as wait can be up to 2 hours even on weekdays.

Our first meal at our ski vacation at Steamboat. Definitely our best meal of the trip. It’s a tiny restaurant. Make sure to make a reservation well in advance, but we were able to go walk in and well worth the wait. Everything we ordered was really good – see pics. Bread costs extra. Everything is a bit pricey.

When I moved back to NYC I searched high and low for the best baguette in Manhattan. I loved Eric Kaiser’s recipe until I stumbled on Mazzola’s in Brooklyn (Cobble Hill), not far from Brooklyn Heights. Mazzola’s seeded Italian (pictured) is the best bread in the USA. I moved to Seattle, when I’m in NYC I bring back 10 loaves packed in a suitcase. Spoke with Josephine last time, we set up regular delivery monthly. This is how I prep it… always break it by hand. Take a half loaf, put it in the oven preheated to 475 for 3 minutes. Serve with fresh Mozz and a Martini. We call it Martini Party, and we do it nightly.

Another Steamboat staple! Looking for great Italian food? You will find it here. Every time I’m in Steamboat I will eat here. And, yes, it’s that good! The service is always on top of it. The owner is very active to ensure your treated well. But, it’s the food that brings me back. This is truly a dining experience. Enjoy! ❤️

Every bite, of every dish we ordered was absolutely incredible! From apps to entries to drinks and desserts, all was truly *chef’s kiss* . (I orderd the fettuccine and oh my gosh, I wanted to lick the plate clean!!) We couldn’t have asked for a better greeting from the host, more friendly servers (Ryan G. was without a doubt the best server we’ve EVER had) and stupendous recommendations for whatever kind of dish your craving! Just a heads up the place was packed; We had an hour wait but when I tell you it was 100% worth it, belive it! Go hungry, leave completely satisfied!
