I’ve never gotten such skimpy calzones as they give you here. I’m paying for bread and the hint of flavor of meat and cheese at this point. Absolutely ridiculous. These photos are from 2 separate times ordering here. I guess I’m gonna have to find a new Mazzios

Manager on 9/2/2025 at 7pm told me that the calzone is supposed to be burnt like this and taste that way. It was burnt. Tasted burnt. Inedible. She had no attitude when I wanted it replaced, then when handing it to me, had one while telling me it was supposed to come that way and next time I needed to tell them to put a “light cook” on it. If you don’t have food quality then there’s no point in being open.

I’m leaving this review ONLY because we order from this location a lot with no problems. We ordered a 4 meat pizza with extra mozzarella, black olives and fresh mushrooms. We received a CHEESE PIZZA WITH BLACK OLIVES. We get it, wrong orders happen.We were hungry and ate the cheese pizza, didn’t want to wait for another pizza to be made and delivered we were hungry. I called the store explained our pizza situation with the guy, immediately he said “let me give you to customer service.” he hit a button and that was it. OMG. I was upset and some women sitting somewhere had to listen to me. Now I have a CREDIT with Mazzios no refund. The store needed to hear the complaint not some women working from her home. Which I did apologize to her for getting upset. I now have a credit….

I placed my order and waited the time quoted in the app. After waiting, I pulled up to the window and waited 20 min before my pizza was given to me. I watched the staff on their phones, swing the pizza cutter at each other, rub around chasing each other, just to be told “it will be a while we’re backed up”.

Pure dough. No way was it even in the oven for 5 mins. This location has given undercooked pizzas to us in the past recently but this time was so doughy we had to throw it out. Not sure if they’re understaffed, need to retrain a new employee or if their oven is broke. Any which way, I hope they figure it out soon. This was no bueno.

Kids bit into this and started crying that it was disgusting. Me, thinking it’s just sugar, cinnamon and icing was in for a huge shock when I took a huge bite to discover that someone had definitely confused the sugar for SALT…. Literally all salt and no sugar. To the point of the kids and I both having to chug multiple glasses of water to get the taste out of our mouths.

Please stop using brown lettuce in your salads. Every time I get a salad half of it is brown lettuce and I have to throw it out. Lettuce does spoil and you’re going to make someone sick. Your boneless chicken is the size of a marble. Terrible! Pizza Hut has bigger boneless chicken. Your service is good but your salad and boneless chicken suck.

I read some of the other reviews and feel for these people. Pick up your pizza. The drive through is fast and the employees work hard to get your orders right. If you are lucky enough to deal with Susan on your trip to Mazzios, you will have a better day from that point on. The car you drive will get better gas mileage, and your clothes will retain an unrealistic luster for, at least, three and a half months.
