About us Mazzios Italian Eatery It was 1961. Alan Shepard was the USA’s first man in space. Dion’s “Runaround Sue” topped the music charts. Volkswagen’s funny little car invaded America in droves. And a young school teacher opened a small, one-man pizza restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was to be the birthplace of the growing, dynamic Mazzio’s LLC of today. That original restaurant—named The Pizza Parlor—delighted many Tulsans with the very first pizza they ever ate. The school teacher was Ken Selby, who ran his new business virtually alone and after a full day of teaching.

The Pizza was great, but the wings were like breaded very soft and seems sweet like added sugar in the ingredients, I ate only 3 on the 10 I ordered. The lemon pepper was not on point.
The service was good, they took long on my order and 3 other big groups got their food before me. And I was alone. The atmosphere was very plain. TV didn’t work. No art, or style. The only good item was Pizza and it was on point.

We have been here twice pizza has been okay and decent but the wings are absolutely horrendous. They were not cooked, slimy and poorly made.

Im sad to say this, but food was horrible, buffet was that of…… I really dont have words for it. Food was sub par. And tasteless. Salad was old looking and wilted. Mazzio needs to do better. I remember back in the day this used to be the place to go eat with family. Now I wouldn’t take anyone I know here. Sorry need to up the standards. People that work here great people just not great food anymore.

Waited well over an hour for a ham and cheese sandwich that was 1) cold and 2) drowning in Italian dressing (to the extent of being almost inedible). Salad bars prepared after order was placed ended up being warm and wilted. No pizza, just a sandwich. Horrible kitchen management.

We placed an online order for two pizzas, and the estimated time was 25 minutes. My wife went to pick them up 30 minutes later, but when she arrived at the drive-thru, the employee told her it would be another 10 minutes — no big deal. However, when she returned after waiting, the girl at the window was rude and said it would be another 5 minutes. The parking lot was nearly empty, with only two other cars, so it didn’t seem particularly busy. In the end, it took an hour from the time we ordered to actually get our pizzas.
When I contacted Mazzio’s CS, they said this location is franchise owned and chooses not to use online feedback.

We’ve ordered online plenty. And I never had many issues. Food is always great. We decided to dine in and try the salad bar. We tried to find a table to sit down, but most of the tables were dirty with left over food or dishes. The floor had full size pieces of pizza on the ground. My wife said maybe they served a birthday or something. We found a clean table in the back. We all ate at the salad bar while waiting for our meal. Salad bar was very good. They brought our pizza out and 2 Alfredo meals. So we started to hand our plates to the teen who brought the food out. She sat the plates on the corner of the table and left. We had no plates for pizza or silverware for our pizza. So I went to the front counter to ask for some plates, but everyone was talking and having fun in the back. After waiting a good while. I went to the salad bar and retrieved plates and silverware. Then we realized we had no toast with the pasta. So I went back and asked for the toast. She brought out the toast wrapped in a Papertowel. At least we get our own drinks She never came back again. This will be our last time Dinning In. Well still order online. The entire time we were there the tables stayed dirty. And everyone just walked on the food left on the ground. A clear lack of management and lack of training. Very disappointing! My one mistake is I should have taken pictures. I hope it changes in the future. It looks like it could be a great place.
