I’m eating subway right now it’s 50 times better than the sandwich at the airport location. Not sure if it’s just the airport or the business doing the price gouging. The breakfast bagels are alright and if you’re starving that is likely the best option.

Very good market with more items than you would expect. Can get very crowded at peak times. So many delicious items to choose from for any meal. Lots of take home and cook prepared foods, sandwiches to go and bakery items too. Beverage and deli items and shelves stocked full of canned and dry goods. Parking can be a challenge, service can be a wait and lines can be long. Prices are a little high but the food is very tasty. We ate sandwiches for lunch and took home items for a meal with friends. Interesting decor inside and on the grounds. Overall worthy visit when in the area.

Be warned: Mazzaro’s Italian Market at the Clearwater-St. Petersburg airport takes “expensive” to a new level. I was shocked to pay $94.67 for just four hot sandwiches and four drinks. While it’s the only substantial food option available, the pricing feels exploitative. Save your money and eat before you arrive, unless you’re willing to overpay significantly for a warmed-up sandwich.

You probably already know all about it. A fantastic selection of gourmet foods and hard to find products, with meats, cheeses, pastas, wines and canned or bottles delicacies abounding. Once you secure a parking space, a monumental feat given how popular this place is, you will be treated to great service in a fun, bustling setting. You should definitely go.

A fine club at airport prices. We shared a fresh, decent sized sandwich and a couple bags of chips. The choices are few but the quality seems to be there. There’s a skylight and the wait for departure was well spent in a quiet corner of the deli.

Two tiny glasses of wine in absolutely filthy wine glasses, one flatbread, and she billed us over $65. She would not give us an itemized receipt, the tip was added without our approval, and she would not explain the bill.

The flatbread was good, she explained the lipstick on the wine glasses as being “hard water .” Gross.

Had to try Mazzaro Italian Market at the Tampa airport as it’s the only “real” food in the terminal, but wow—what a letdown. I paid $30 for a lukewarm, flavorless Italian sandwich and a Dole-brand juice. Seriously? At that price, I expected something at least remotely satisfying, not something that tastes like it came from a gas station deli. I get that airport food is usually expensive, but this was just ridiculous. Save your money and eat before you get to the airport—or grab a granola bar from your carry-on. Total rip-off.

I paid $14.75 for bottle of soda and kids cheese pizza and cashier Yerlin said as I handed her $15.00 cash “just so you know we work on tips.” How distasteful young lady. Tips are earned and you need a tip on class!

If I could give no stars I would. Just was completely ignored and the people behind us were seated and served before us. Two hours before our flight. It’s the only place to eat in this airport and I can only assume because of the color of my skin my husband and myself were skipped. Completely obvious. The people that they greeted could have spoken up on our behalf as well but didn’t. I am not about to spend $60 on an airport lunch after being so blatantly disrespected. I will definitely not be back here. It’s a shame what this country has come too. Better days are surely coming!

If you want anything authentically Italian, this is a one-of-a-kind fabulous market!! From home made pasta, baked goods, cheese cave for wine as well to a coffee bar, I can’t get enough of this place. There’s also a warehouse of Italian gifts to classes. I’m proud of our Mazzaro’s here and take all visitors here. Come early, it gets packed and stays that way all days.
