we went to mazzaros during our 4 hour delay and our cashier was an absolute WRETCH!!! her name was Sabrina (as said on the receipt). i cannot believe how rude and unbelievably unhappy she was to me and my family. i met her with a warm smile and a kind thank you and she met me with an angry grouchy face. what a shame!!! the only reason why i even think they deserve the 1 star is because my food was exceptionally mediocre… overpriced too!!!

Normally love Mazzaro anything. Purchased the chicken Caesar and the chicken is smoked, which is not mentioned in description. The smokey flavor seems like that fake liquid smoke version and ruins the taste. In addition, Croutons are soggy, so I basically paid $16 for lettuce, cheese and dressing. Would not recommend.

I’ve been a regular of Mazzaro’s St Pete location, and they are wonderful. This airport branch experience was in no way a positive one in comparison to the other. Hot Italian sub had a single piece of deli meat inside. Would’ve brought it to someone’s attention, but staff made everyone leave so they could clean and close. Reviews seem to show this is common for this branch, but I hope quality improvements happen soon.

Clean. Pricey and the only game in town. If you’re here and need or want something to eat, it will do. It is what it is. Service once order placed was quick. I’ve had worse Italian sandwiches. Sure I will eat here again.

I bought their already made pizza. I baked it and was very disappointed. The pizza dough was the same premade, forked, disc every other place uses. I expected real bread dough from an Italian market, not a premade, chemical disc.

Extremely overpriced and the food is terrible. The worst chicken parmesan sandwich I’ve ever had. $10 for a can of Yuengling , are you kidding me?? Just close this place and put something else here, and anyone giving a positive review is simply incorrect.

Food in the market was good, atmosphere sucks because too many people are there. I went to another Italian market down the road and got better service and didn’t have to fight with rude customers. I will not return any time soon.

Disgusting Italian sub, stale bread, 2 pieces of nearly rotten meat, 1 tomato slice and some slimy red onion. The kid making it should be fired. We were inflight (4/22 flight 2660 to PSM) when we opened it. If I had noticed it in the terminal, I would’ve returned it… Absolutely disgusting, inedible!! Did I say disgusting?

Wow, I have eaten in a lot of airports but this. This was crazy. A pitiful sandwich with very little meat for $20 is just nuts
