My wife and I went there to check out the new store. The meats are excellent and reasonably priced. The steaks that we bought were nice and tender. We ordered subs which “huge” and filled with lots of meat.

Mazzaferro’s subs are great when they get the order right. Unfortunately, this is only about half the time. On my most recent order they forgot the tomatoes and extra lettuce (printed on the order slip). I also asked for mayo, which didn’t even make it onto the order slip, but at least I had mayo at home to add myself. This sub was truly the most disappointing one yet.

I am so happy this market survived the fire and continue to provide excellent meats and cooked food. When I think of Rome, I think of this place. Huge sandwiches, hot and cold. Prepared meals for takeout or reheating. This is the place to go.
