Mazunte catered our wedding reception in October 2021 and did an absolutely fantastic job. They arrived with plenty of time to set up (the buffet looked awesome) and did an excellent job managing the buffet. The catering team was so incredibly sweet on the day of, and were really easy to work with leading up to the event. Most importantly, the food was excellent and there was more than enough for people to go back for seconds and thirds. There are two sites, this is where delivery and pick up seems to come from. The restaurant is down the road toward Red Bank. The food was fairly good, as I am typically used to, especially the memelitas. I had wanted horchata, but did not get it. Instead I received a Jamaica, which was alright.

Ordered to go, showed up at the estimated time of 30 minutes, and drove the less than three minutes to get home and my food was soggy and cold for the empanadas and also my soup was cold…it’s soup! How long was my food sitting there?! Ive worked in food service at a place that uses toast it’s not hard to time out an order so it’s done when the costumer get there either change the online wait time in Toast to a shorter amount of time or wait to start making it until it’s closer to their arrival time

Very good tacos, unlike any others I’ve ever had. Quality is consistent, food is fresh, price is reasonable but not cheap. Love the grilled fish and the chicken dorados tacos best.
Ordered and picked up carryout from the Mazunte commissary on Madison road, not the restaurant. Saved me the trouble of waiting in line at the restaurant to get my carryout.

Didn’t realize they had a second location on the same street. Went to pick up my food and was told it was just past UDF on the right. It wasn’t. It was further down the street on the left side. Got there, picked up order. Got to work, opened box and YUCK!! SHAMEFUL! IT was a big pile of 3 taco mess. To top it off it was also COLD. I don’t mean, not hot. I mean COLD!! I usually like this restaurant, but this time was extremely disappointing to say the least! Doubtful if I will return.

We used Mazunte catering to cater our taco bar for our wedding in November and would highly recommend them for your catering needs! The food was AMAZING – our guests all loved the variety and customizable options, plus it was just really really tasty! Our contact, Melissa was so helpful answering our questions and making sure our guests dietary and allergy needs were met as well as making sure we ordered the right quantities. We opted for just delivery and set up service for a very minimal fee so aside from preparing the food, Mazunte employees just dropped of the trays and set up the buffet, but they were on time, efficient and professional, and we didn’t have to do a thing! Very affordable (VERY affordable for wedding events!), delicious, and crowd-pleasing option for catering!

My family had the best lunch from the Madison location today. I had chicken tacos and two others had chicken enchiladas. All forms of chicken were amazing, as was the salsa roja, and fresh cotija cheese. Even the white rice served with the enchiladas was amazing. We will be back!
