Loved the salsa bar! The guacamole was super fresh, and the big fried tortillas for dipping were a fun touch. The enchiladas and tostadas were both delicious and authentic, and the margaritas hit the spot. Just keep an open mind—this is authentic Mexican, so embrace the flavors. Honestly, I’d come back to Kentucky just to eat here again.

Love the atmosphere of this place. Great design, service, drinks and food. I had the soup and blue corn tortilla quesadillas and a great pitcher of margaritas. Great price for the quality of food and service. Also if you like heat, ask for extra hot sauce and they have amazing habanero sauce in the back, oh so good. Will frequent regularly.

Second dining experience here and we love it. It’s an elevated version of Corta Lima which is outstanding. Salsa bar appetizer is delicious with a mixture of spice, sweet, and heat. Enchiladas with beef exploded with flavor. Black beans were top 10 with bold mixture of red chilies and garlic.

Food was so good and reasonably priced. Happy hour drink deals were great. Owner or manager was incredibly welcoming. Their hottest hot sauce was so good they let me take some home. We will be back frequently. Finally somewhere good to eat in the distillery district except pizza.

We stopped by yesterday for lunch, it was my first time there and let me tell you that the service and atmosphere alone is worth the trip! Our server was amazing, he was friendly, very attentive and handled all his tables very well. The cheese dip is AMAZING! It’s so good, we ordered one after another and the presentation is something you don’t normally see, I really enjoyed that. We also tried the fish tacos, the torta and the tamales. It’s a new restaurant with it’s own twist on Mexican food so definitely stop by and give it a try.

The rice it comes with is also SO GOOD, Idk what kind of garlicky crack seasoning they got going on but I LIKE IT!!
We arrived on Saturday noon ish and sat immediately and then people started trickling in. We also got the birra tacos which are also delicious accompanied by a refreshing limeade!
I’ve had the quesadillas before too, BOMB.
Our server was so sweet and bubbly. Made our experience even better.
Definitely a better option than some of the places in the distillery district to munch.
We’ll be back for the Mexican pizza!

My husband’s family and I went to Mazunte Bodega last night for dinner and all loved it! The food was very fresh and flavorful, and the dishes were a great mix of authentic but with a unique twist. The vegan options were the best vegan options I’ve had at a non-vegan Mexican restaurant, as the toppings didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend!

One of the best Mexican food. Birria is my favorite. Steak tacos are delicious. Tried almost all the menu items and was so good for every dish. Must try chips and salsa. Servers are nice and friendly 🙂

Great food! We were a party of 6 ordered chips & salsa + guacamole. Guacamole was outstanding, salsas were great, chips were big that you had to break. Ordered chicken empanadas, which were incredible. Everyone loved their food which included rice bowls, tostadas, & enchiladas. Will go back every time we are in Lexington. Each time we’ve been there it’s not been crowded, which I don’t understand as it’s delicious!
