I’ve been going to this restaurant for basically my entire life. I only really got into Google rating stuff in recent years, though. I’ve been away from the US for like a decade, so I’ve never taken the time to review Mazatlan. I recently returned to the US, and one of my first stops was this place. I absolutely love their food and always will! Everything is delicious, but my favourite is cheese enchiladas as a combo plate. Furthermore, I’ve had the chance in the past to visit their two other locations. All equally awesome.

I visited this place for lunch with my friend. I guess paying $15 for a good meal is what’s getting a standard.
Food – I liked the food; my burrito came with a side of rice and beans as well. The nachos and salsa are offered as a complimentary first round.
Ambience – The ambience is colourful, although we found that there’s an off-putting strong smell in the centre area and we have to move near the windows, maybe it was a one-off thing.
Location – plenty of parking and next to a Vietnamese restaurant

This is a frequent stop when the familia wants Mexican food. There are four of us and we typically eat the pork chile verde, carne asada tacos, enchiladas and seafood. The food is good and consistent. The bar drinks (especially the margaritas and coladas) are yummy and so is everything else we have tried.
Every sitting starts with chips, salsa and bean dip. The only complaint we could come up with, and it’s a small complaint, is that occasionally they are really busy and short staffed. Then again, so is every other restaurant. That small thing is not enough to mark these folks down a star. Most of the time, the service is really fast and we recommend this Mexican food joint.

They have gotten my take out order wrong so many times. Be wary if you are vegetarian as they give you chicken or beef when you ask for cheese. The manager is very nice but it seems to be a recurring experience. The prices are pretty steep for no frills platter style joint. The food is on the bland side. It used to be comfort food but now tastes flavorless. I will try something new going forward. They also forget to turn their phone off constantly so half the time you call it is a busy signal which I have mentioned to them.

We’ve been eating here and getting takeout for over 20 years. It’s been pretty consistent. Got takeout a few nights ago. Librado was my server and he was awesome; Friendly and fun to talk to. The food was also excellent. The best it’s ever been for takeout. I got the 3 Amigos, my wife got a chicken chimichanga meal and our son got the 3 chicken Verde enchiladas meal. Everything was on point and super-tasty. The Chile relleno in my 3 Amigos meal is probably the best one I’ve ever had. Traditional, hand-dipped and cooked perfectly. They can be kinda spongy when they aren’t prepared properly. It’s like the Mexican version of Eggplant Parmigiana. I love ’em both when they’re done right.
Anyway, great job folks! <3

This Was my first time going to Mazatlan I originally had planed to go to the Mazatlan in Cornelius but accidentally put the Aloha in Uber. My friend and I decided to go out for a belated Valentine’s Day dinner. It was In the evening and not too busy. The waitress was very friendly and attentive brought Tortilla chips and salsa as a appetizer. My Friend and I both ordered the Steak Picado,
Top sirloin, sliced and fried with onions and mushrooms, covered with spanish sauce. For the 2 sides Spanish Rice and Refried beans, I ordered a large Margarita. This is great Restaurant that serves authentic Mexican cuisine. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back as well as check out their Cornelius location!!

Bomb… and the service is amazing, our waiter knows what we order before we sit down and pays close attention to our needs. Big plus here is, they dont bother us while we’re eating or having a conversation. By far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.
Food is delicious, fresh and the portions are fair for the price.

Had a great experience here recently with a large group for a graduation gathering. The staff was extremely nice and attentive! They made the experience worth the while. We had the 3 meat combo plate for everyone, it was great! Except for my personal liking, the shrimp were sweet with some spice and did not taste the best for me, but others loved it so that was just met.
I would definitely go here again.

I’ve never been to this location before, but as usual, they did not disappoint. Excellent service, great food, nicely decorated, & the employees are genuinely smiling & having a good time. Their perfect margaritas was also fantastic. My favorite dish at Mazatlan is their Fajitas Trio (steak, chicken, & shrimp). If you order their Fajitas for 2, expect to have leftovers, there were 3 of us & we still had extra. They start you off with fresh house made chips, bean dip, & your choice of mild/hot salsa. The Fajitas come with fresh guacamole, sour cream, cheesy beans, & rice.

Good quality food, and attentive service; however not what I would call “authentic” Mexican fare. Mexican style food would be a more accurate description of the meals that our group had. Would go back though!
