We ate here on the way to Rainier. This restaurant looked like a house from the outside, and it’s very gorgeous on the inside with high ceilings and great lighting. Unfortunately the food was expensive and only ok tasting – I got a chicken chimichanga from the lunch menu, and it’s half the size and more expensive than chimichangas that I have gotten in California. Oh well.

Food is okay. Not a lot of flavor and the salsa is watered down. We were kind of disappointed that our fajita dinner wasn’t served on the iron skillet—sizzling, there was only 4 tortillas. Overall, the food is okay and expect to pay $30.00 (roughly or more) per plate and $20.00 (or more) per margarita drink. The service is excellent; our waiter was attentive, resourceful, and provided exceptional service. The scenery was absolutely outstanding with the artwork and well kept cleanliness.

An absolutely divine Mexican dining experience. My wife and I drive past it all the time and we finally had a date night with our kiddo.
I highly recommend Mazatlan. The service was prompt and our server was great. The food was incredible. I got the chicken en mole and it was perfect. Rich, savory, sweet, divine.
We’ll definitely be back with friends!

Beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere and lots of natural light. Very friendly staff, super attentive. Food was great and very large portions. Frozen margarita was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We had fajitas and the Molcajete! Delicious! It was our anniversary and they gave us a very large bowl of ice cream with some fun toppings including fruity pebbles.

Had door dash it was good included chips and yummy salsa…wish the salsa was thicker cause it’s really delicious. I didn’t have napkins or cutlery included but probably my fault and didn’t request. All in all good, I would order again.

Slow service, bland food and chain atmosphere made this a disappointing meal. We always stop for Mexican after a weekend hike and chose this one on the way home to Seattle. We were seated promptly but it took a long time for anyone to take our order… We had eaten 2 bowls of chips and salsa and drunk half the welcome water before anyone checked in.
There seem to be 2 classes of staff, the floating table staff and waiters. The waiter was very slow /understaffed and we received little attention.
When our tortilla soup and fajita plate arrived the food was attractive and tasty, but oddly bland. I never add salt or hot sauce to Mexican food but used a lot to get flavor. We ate corn chips instead of tortilla for flavor.
Finally, it took another long wait to get the bill, and on delivering it , the waiter ran off again without taking payment. We got up and tried to pay at the till but the 2 staff were not authorized to take payment. We had to wait for another Waiter Class dude to take our card.
Not a great experience. Seemed to be popular for groups, and families with young kids (who were having fun.

We ate here for lunch today. We ordered chicken tacos, rice, and beans. We also ordered a chicken taco salad. The taco shells were overcooked. The shredded chicken in the tacos and salad was dry, not seasoned and was cold. We’ve eaten much better Mexican food than this!

Passing through town and pulled in to the first place that sounded good. Perfect unplanned stop. Great food, large portions, reasonably prices, great server, beautiful building. The fajita salad with beef was amazing and enough for 2 meals.
