Came here the other night with some friends and had a great experience.. I got the steak nachos and a friend got the steak tacos.. Both were out of this world delicious! Service was awesome too! Definitely going to be back here again!

It was a very odd experience when it came to the service when we walked in they had us wait for 10 minutes waiters came waking by and nobody greeted us. Once we got a table we saw all the other ones dirty with plates nothing caring it was like if we were an inconvenience for them. I do gotta say the food was really good with great seasoning but just the overall experience wasn’t it. I wouldn’t come back just because of that.

a while back i purchased a carnitas quesadilla from this establishment. to which i received this – fat, bone, cartilage quesadilla. disgusted, i brought it back in and was told i could not switch the type of meat out on my remake without paying more. reluctantly, i accepted their remake of a new carnitas quesadilla and unfortunately, was met with the same. i am not a confrontational person, so i have just avoided this establishment since. but was very disappointed in their blatant lack of respect for their customers to feel it’s okay to serve something like this. i easily could have broken a tooth on the bones that were in my food, had i not opened it to see what was going on after the first bite was nothing but cartilage and fat. i’m still disgusted to this day and would never return here again

Chicken fajitas are my standard for judging Mexican food. My standard has gotten easy. Mazamitla Lake Station is easily the very best. Real honest Mexican flavor. Perfect heat, taste I’ve been looking for but not successful finding it until Nov. 16 at noon.

The Mazamitla Food Truck came to my work today and it was Amazing! Not ever having had their food before I was not knowing what to expect. I Chose The Steak Burrito Meal which had Refried Beans with Cheese and Spanish Rice as Sides. Everything was Absolutely Incredible Especially the Burrito which was Loaded with Steak and the potion sizes were Huge…Soooo Good!! I would Highly Recommend Mazamitla if your looking for Authentic Mexican Cuisine, you Will Not Be Dissapointed!!

Mazamitla is WONDERFUL!! For 25 Tuesdays of the summer every Tuesday We ride to a different Mexican restaurant in Lake, Porter and La Porte countys We’ve done this every year for the past 7 years. we always try to go to someplace new along with all our favorites of the past. Mazamitla is without a doubt in my personal top five list. They have a great patio . I go to Mexico approximately six times a year and this restaurant is closest , most authentic Mexican restaurant in this entire area. I’ll see you again. Salud !
