Reviews
The coffee is rich and aromatic, and the tea is absolutely wonderful. We ordered two large teapots for a group of five — more than enough, and everything was delicious.
The pastries and desserts are truly amazing — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.
The service is friendly, polite, and attentive, which makes you feel really welcome.
The place is clean, cozy, and has a very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.
Thank you so much — we’ll definitely be back and will happily recommend this place to friends! ☕
You can order at the front or use their touch pad to order. They have a variety of choices and pastries.
I got the iced pistachio matcha and Wow it tasted like a latte but more so of the pistachio flavor with the after taste. It’s sweet and nutty. I throughly enjoyed this Matcha. costed around $7.
I saw some people ordered pastries and the more traditional type coffees. They were presented very aesthetically with a cute tray and the whole traditional pot.
The only thing I was disappointed in is that the pastries may change daily because I did not see the knafeh dome shaped dessert listed but I’ve seen photos in other reviews.
I would most definitely come here again to try some other things!
Update: Went here again for a work day and this is the second time they were out of Red Velvet Latte. Plus the bathrooms are super dirty here.
How is what I was served an avocado toast compared to what was advertised? Cheap white bread and overcooked egg that looks premade and heated. The crushed red pepper is also old.
And my first impression of the pistachio latte? It tastes like steak. I tried the Biscoff iced latte which was recommended as the favorite, and it also tastes like old grease and has a gluey mouthfeel. It must be the syrup that’s old or the milk base they use.
I can’t help but feel defrauded by the advertising. Completely catfished. And the drinks themselves are so… bad, and that’s being kind.
So two stars is being generous. The service is super slow, one of the women has the phone in her hand most of the time. Does that mean my toast was made with hands that kept touching the phone?
Some comfy seats but it’s frigid inside even with a poncho (I think they keep it in the 60s – why in November?), super loud inside even with just a handful of people because of the sounds ringing off the concrete walls, and there’s no music to tamp it down. Seriously disappointed.
Edit: I see that the business replied. There’s no clarification I need to provide on why expectation vs reality had a mismatch. The standard to aim for is the avocado toast that was advertised; just make an effort to serve that. And disclose what you’re doing differently since the review.
I also see that the $9 for avocado toast and latte advertising is still up. Until I see another review with an improved offering or the false advertising removed, this is a 1-star place in my view. It’s one thing for no one to have called out catfishing and another thing for the catfishing to continue despite being called out.
I will not be visiting this business again and respectfully decline any further exchange.
