Amazing Indian that I could actually eat! Not too Hot!!
This place knows how to cook food fresh! I wish they would show every Indian restaurant near me in SE PA how to do it! I asked for super mild, no pepper(s), no chilis, no cayenne, nothing with heat. And BAM! that’s what I got! Lamb Korma I could eat and enjoy as if I had made it myself – only better. The rice was bland and not as flavorful as what I’m used to making, and eating in other restaurants. I was as if it was just plain white rice, not basmati, or jasmine. I didn’t detect any cardamom pods, or clove, bay or curry leaf or cinnamon stick, which is how we always cook ours. It was quite bland and too soft, that’s why I shorted them a star. Otherwise the food was off the charts delicious. We had several dishes between four of us, and all of them were equally wonderful. The fact is this place would see me 3 times a week if it were close by!

Great South Indian buffet. The restaurant smells like nothing, which is a bit different than most Indian restaurants where you end up smelling like the food you’re eating.
Good service, a little slow at times considering only a few people were there.

Food is nice.. service is also okay. But it wasnt as clean, restroom doors do not lock properly. Did not like that naan was served on table right after we entered. It was cold by the time we got food from buffet. Naan should be served after we ask for it. If they take care of service and maintainence, food is good.

Restaurant looks kinda old, but food is great. Had the lunch buffet for a reasonable price (10.50). Selection was not to big, but everything i tried was tasty.

Best Indian food in the Scranton area! Went twice last month. The fact that it’s a lunch buffet can help start you on your way to spice and flavors you have never tasted. The staff very good! Never a dry glass of water and on some things you’ll need it! Excellent!!!

Takeout and dine in are both great. I’ve had positive experiences ordering out and during the buffet. I’ve been told the food is the most authentic in the area, ranging more towards South Indian fare. I wouldn’t know, but the food is darn good. I’d highly suggest the samosas!

Glad we ignored the negative reviews! The exterior is unimpressive, but the inside was clean and neat. And the food…the food was delicious. There is a good veg and non veg selection, and they will adjust the spice level to suit your tastes. Our waiter was very helpful, and made great suggestions, like ‘try the mango lassi’. We did, and you should too.

I went here for lunch on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The lunch buffet is very good. There are about 6 meat and 6 vegetarian items… all warm and fresh. They have 2 deserts, both very good. They make naan bread fresh and bring it to your table. The service is friendly, fast, and attentive. The atmosphere has Indian music and pictures, it is kind of basic, of course the food is the reason to be here. I definitely recommend this place and I will be back.

While the inside will not go down as the most elegant dining establishment. This was the best Indian cusine I have ever had. The wait staff was pleasant and helpful in selecting a dish that fit my tastes. The pricing was very fair for the generous servings.
