Ambiance:
Mayura welcomes diners with a warm and inviting atmosphere, characterized by traditional Indian decor. The colorful artwork and soft classical music complement the dining experience, creating a relaxing environment.
Food:
The menu at Mayura is extensive, featuring a range of dishes from various regions of India. Vegetarians will appreciate the “Vegetable Pakora”. Each dish is served with a generous portion of basmati rice, freshly baked naan, and a side of tangy raita.
Service:
The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, eager to explain the dishes and assist with recommendations. Their promptness adds to the pleasant dining experience, ensuring that every need is met with a smile.
Value:
The prices at Mayura are reasonable, considering the quality and portion sizes of the dishes. It offers good value for money, making it an ideal spot for casual dining as well as special occasions.
Improvements:
The service was notably slow, even though the restaurant was not busy. “Non Veg Tandoori platter was so dry”.
If you can’t offer the same thing, say no. Why do you make your customers go through such bad food. How do you sleep at night serving people such horrible food?
We recently visited Mayura Indian Restaurant after Our church service, and I was blown away by the food and hospitality. I had never ordered party food from them but was impressed with the quality, so I decided to dine in with my Friends and church family.
We started with the fish fry, which was crispy and flavorful. Then we moved on to the star of the show – the fish Curry and mussels . It was cooked to perfection with a perfect blend of spices and flavors. It was truly an authentic Kerala dish.
The chef at Mayura Indian Restaurant is exceptional, and you can taste the passion and love in each dish. The ambience of the restaurant was also impressive. It had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with beautiful decor.
Lastly, I must mention the hospitality of the staff. They were attentive and made sure that we were satisfied with every dish. They even accommodated our special requests with a smile.
Overall, I highly recommend Mayura Indian Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Kerala cuisine, great chef, cozy ambience, and wonderful hospitality. You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been ordering from them many times.
They’ve let me down couple times but this one… this was the last straw. For this reason, I will no longer come to this place and order from them. And for this reason, I hope they see this and try to improve.
I ordered vegetable biriyani and it was so greasy (oil was all over the bottom of the bag when I got it and I had to squeeze excess oil into another plate) that it messed with my stomach. I think I have a picture so if I find it I will update later but I’m not going to go out of my way to find it.
I let it go. Did not come here for months.
Decided to try again, and I ordered chicken methi malai. I will let the picture speak for itself.
$18.99 and this is what I got.
The photos on the website is NOTHING like the food I get when I place an order .
It’s misleading. And for what I got for that price is just ludicrous.
I asked them to make it spicy and they just added chili oil and made the whole thing even more greasy. Little 3-5 pieces of meat. I had to order beef kabob next door (the chinese restaurant ) because it wasn’t enough meat for me.
There is no love in these food.
Simply disappointed. please do better.
Mayura is very authentic southern Indian cuisine. Their speciality is the Onam Sadya meal celebrating the Hindi festival of Onam, Kerala’s largest festival. This dish of multiple foods served on a banana leaf is distinctly Kerala.
Beyond that, the have the full compliment of Southern Indian cuisine including Sambar and Idly, Masala Dosa, Samosa Chaat. The also have the my favorites like Tandori Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Dal Tadka, Dal Makhani, and Tiki Masal. Be sure to sample everything at the buffet on the weekends.
I ordered the kerala fish curry and my gf ordered the chicken methi malai. After we ordered, the wait wasn’t too long but when the food came out, right away I noticed how small the portion size was and how it didn’t look like the photos. In fact most of dishes didn’t look like the photos. I sent one of the dishes back which was the “Mysora Dosa” because that’s not what it looked like on their menu.. the picture showed thick fluffy pancakes almost and what we got was like a thin crepe. The fish curry doesn’t taste like curry, it taste like straight up spice (I’d like to mention in my culture we are no strangers to a lot of spice). The taste was overbearing like strong black pepper, cardamom, and cumin spice. Might as well eat a spoonful of those spices! I had to mix in the chicken methi malai in the “fish curry” to try to salvage the dish. The chicken was very salty, if you have high bp don’t go, seriously.
I will say the server was very nice, she was by herself serving and new. She was accommodating and saw my concern. The mango lassi and garlic naan were good. We weren’t a big fan of the mango chutney and the gulab jamun dessert.
Overall, food really was too salty, there’s no love in it. Feels like it was just thrown together. The chef should try to taste his food before serving. For the serving size and taste, the food was way over priced.
