Get coffee primarily. Latte’s usually. No flavors. Their baked goods from (?) source are good. They have new ownership, so this is based on former owners.
Except I did attend an evening event they held under the new owners and it was packed and very fun. They brought in an outside vendor for food that looked really good, but we didn’t buy any that night.
I look forward to updating this after a couple visits.

Maypop in Webster Groves is one of those places that makes you instantly want to linger. It’s part coffee shop, part greenhouse, part cozy neighborhood hangout—and honestly, it nails all three.
The patio is gorgeous with bright yellow chairs, greenery all around, and string lights overhead. Inside, it’s full of thoughtful details: shelves of teas and pottery, local goods, and even a wall of Polaroids of visitors’ pets (such a fun touch). There’s also a designated quiet room if you want to sip and work in peace, which I love.
My latte was smooth, creamy, and beautifully done with latte art. They offer house-made syrups like honey lavender and cardamom, which makes their drinks extra special. I went in for coffee, but I already know I’ll be back for brunch and cocktails—the whole vibe is too good not to. Between the plants, the coffee, the food, and the atmosphere, this place is basically everything I need.

The coffee and pastries here are honestly nothing out of the ordinary but what truly makes this place special is everything else. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the uniqueness of the building, paired with the charming outdoor garden and stunning views, creates a peaceful and beautiful setting that’s hard to find elsewhere. To top it off, the staff are incredibly bubbly and friendly, adding to the overall positive vibe. It’s the kind of place you come to not just for the coffee, but for the experience.

Such a cozy garden shop! Beautiful indoor and outdoor plants to choose from along with seating areas for enjoying your beverage. Parking is a bit difficult and scarce but worth the visit!! Lots of used trays to pick from too, just ask!

Excuse me, how did no one tell me Maypop Coffee & Garden Shop existed? And who looked at all of these trees, herbs, and veggie plants and thought it smart to add caffeine? Genius! I’m a black coffee purist, basic, bold, no fluff, so I can find my fix pretty much anywhere. But what I can’t find is a garden stroll with my morning brew. You gotta go! Grab a cup, wander through the plants, pretend you know the difference between a hydrangea and a hosta (I actually do). But don’t get lost.

Me and my friend went for a coffee date. It was very hot so we couldn’t stick around outside and explore the garden shop much but we managed to get some cute pictures! The inside is cute, small. I got a caramel latte but it definitely needed less milk and more espresso bc I could just taste the milk honestly. My friend got a lemonade and it tasted great! Overall, not too bad experience. Thanks!

Maypop is absolutely stunning and a perfect spot for morning coffee. The coffee shop itself is lovely, with different areas to sit, which is pretty cool. The outdoor area and greenhouse are very nice, too. While I found the cortado a bit too strong for my taste, the pastries are amazing, and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely be back!

If a place is literally named a coffee shop and they don’t sell coffee anymore, the bare minimum is updating their Google Maps description or hours/services. Otherwise it just wastes people’s time.

The employees are super nice and the cookies are phenomenal! They were really soft and delicious. As a cookie snob, I will definitely be getting more next time. I also thoroughly enjoyed my sun butter toast this morning-so good and the hand drawn coffee cup design was literally adorable. I loved that they also have compostable plates and actual silverware to cut down on waste. Can’t wait to go back!!

Great coffee shop! Ordered the hummus/garlic toast, delicious and full of flavor. The hummus was delightful and the combination of flavors between the everything seasoning and olive oil and tomato/cucumber mix was amazing. 2 drip coffees and a chocolate chip scone finished off the order. This shop has great coffee , slightly pricey ($3.50 w/$1.64 refills )especially on refills but really good nonetheless ..The environment is lovely and is wheelchair accessible with a convenient lift in the back…ample parking and a wheelchair accessible green house! Will definitely be back!
