Such a cute ice cream spot. Easy to find but hard to get in. The front entry is so cramped with tables you have to shuffle around other people to get around to the counter. The ice cream we got was very good HOWEVER… they were out of more than half the flavors. Not to mention it was nearly $10 for a milkshake. We did get a souvenir cup but it was just a basic plastic cup with the shop logo. When we visited there were no less than 9 screaming kids inside. While this is not reflected in my star rating (shop cannot be held responsible for customer behavior) it is worth noting because the shop is small and it was extremely loud. They might want to consider adding an outdoor seating option.

We have stopped here a few times for their yummy ice cream. I love the banana pudding, key lime, peanut butter and raspberry cheesecake flavors! Great staff that are so friendly!

Went for doughnuts which unfortunately they were out of. Instead we got muffins which were great, but there aren’t prices readily apparent in the shop and it turns out muffins are over 5 bucks a muffin. That was a bit of sticker shock. It’s a muffin after all. But they were very good.

A nice ice cream parlor that’s apparently newly opened. They make a mean chocolate milkshake and their portions are very generous. People behind the counter were quite nice as well. Every town should have a nice ice cream place like this. The building it’s in is quite pretty as well.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! Great customer service at the counter. The ice cream creations as well as the pastries are to die for. I can’t recommend this place enough after a long hot day on the beach. Our new favorite dessert spot in Port Royal for sure!

Beaufort is home but we don’t live here anymore. Maynard’s is the greatest addition to the Port Royal area. We have already been three times since we got home. They have so many flavors of ice cream. And today is the first time I have had pastries. I also got a (not pictured) a red velvet cookie and an iced red velvet latte. EVERY bit of it was delicious. We will be back before we leave again!

We had the affogate, with espresso poured over coffee ice cream . It was very good. I think it was $7. It was a beautiful day so we sat on the picnic tables outside, they also have inside table and chairs. The homemade donuts looked delicious so next time I will try those.

A little pricey but worth paying the price for a Vet owned establishment. One of the best Apple-T I’ve had in awhile. Only down side is they allow pets inside the small place and when you have Dog allergies that could go south quick.
