We walked past by this spot last time and I made it a point to come try it out. Maymay’s is co-located with another business (Yi-Fangs). I think the Ats very smart each business’ customers will likely check-out both spots. The staff were all friendly, they greet you with a smile as you come in.

There’s only a few tables inside, it’s not very big. When it’s busy be prepared to grab and go as there might not be a place to sit and eat.

The food is good. We ordered the pork adobo and arroz Caldo from the food menu and Ube latte and Thai tea from their drink menu. All very good. I like their version of the pork adobo. The meat was tender has a bit of sweetness to it. The egg in it though was a bit overcooked (tasted dry). And the egg in the arrow Caldo was not warm. Also, they gave me lime vs. lemon for the arroz Caldo and it was in the dish. I’d rather have that in the side so that I don’t have to fish it out of the bowl. Couldn’t squeeze anything out of the lime :D.

The drinks were very good! My Ube was made with standard sweetness (and it wasn’t too sweet) which I loved and it tasted so creamy!!!

I’m giving my overall experience 4stars because customer service was great, the food was good, and you get a big serving for the price you pay. I will have to come back and try their onigiris.

Finally Filipino comfort food in Walnut Creek! Come here grab noodles you can make yourself with a variety of toppings, order Filipino comfort food with rice, or grab a grab n go onigiri! Personally would recommend the Taho, and corn latte! Trust me you’ll remember your trip to the Philippines or your Lola’s cooking as a kid. Don’t miss out and support a small growing business!

I came in to pick up a Too Good To Go bag. The guy at the counter was rude. I got two onigiri that were basically just rice with almost no fish inside, “Dubai” chocolate that wasn’t anything like the real thing, and two teas that tasted like nothing. I don’t think I’ll go back.

Very friendly staff and delicious onigiri. They’re inside the boba shop but have a seperate menu. Great Filipino and Japanese snacks, well priced with a 3 onigiri & jasmine or thai tea set.

Really cute convenience snack and drink bar tucked away in a shared hall with Yi Fang. You order on a kiosk and can get fresh onigiris and drinks (I opted for a mango matcha). Super unique and refreshing spot for the area. Reminds me of my travels in Japan. Love more quick spot spaces! And the quality was top notch!

Have been to May May now 4 times since I find out about them last week. I can only speak to their onigiris which are fresh and yummy. My gf had the mango sago which she said was really good!! Can’t wait to try more things as they will roll out more Filipino rice bowls.

So glad to find out a store like this opening up in downtown Walnut Creek!

Generous filling portions in the onigiri and the filling to rice ratio is as if I were to make one for myself at home!! Super worth it for the price and very tasty. Would come back to try their desserts

The ube protein shake was SO GOOD, didn’t taste like a protein shake at all, super milky and refreshing, they have multiple non-dairy milk options also. Their onigiri was made fresh to order and was also delicious, crisp nori, fresh rice and fresh, generously portioned fillings. I highly recommend this place to anyone in/around Walnut Creek and it’s worth traveling for!
